This song made me cry so much, he really explains how regretful he feels and it just really hits me so much because of how I or even anyone can relate to this. For about 4 years, there was a time where I was so desperate to go back with my ex and I had finally given up knowing how much it was destroying me in the end. Whenever I listen to this I remember how many promises I kept trying to make to her and how many times I wanted to help her and save her, but I kept hurting her instead. When I hear “Baby, break me, kick me to the curb” all I can think of is a way of saying, if I make a mistake, you can humiliate me and I won't fight back for what I did wrong. Obviously my explanation isn't accurate, but that's what I think he's trying to convey in my opinion. This album was something different for me. I'm glad I've been growing up listening to every album he makes. He never disappoints.

I can’t get over this song.. the vulnerability on this one is something that I can relate to, more than I ever have with Abel’s music before. I just can’t pick a favorite on Dawn. I simply can’t. From start to finish, this is a beautiful & chilling sonic masterpiece. The themes on this one is something that I can appreciate greatly. I think we can all do a little healing. There will always be the pull towards everything we used to be & stand for. Sometimes we’ve got no choice but to learn to let that part of ourselves go, and learn to forgive ourselves for our past mistakes. I felt this one with my soul.. I want nothing more than to learn to let go, and see heaven’s landscape within in mind. I love XO much. It feels like a family. 1st time listening: Welp, if any song was to make me tear up it is this one. I FELT it. And I remembered it from the starry eyed teaser. Won’t be surprised when this becomes a full hit. The lyrics are so beautifully put and voice so angelic and leaves me speechless.
