Linda strummed a little guitar, but was hardly proficient. However, Linda could sing any style of music and Karen could not, so Linda gets the edge there. February 4, 1983. I cried that day, the day Karen died. The voice of an angel. I saw her in concert at the Riviera in Las Vegas in the late 70's. I was the only person standing at the end, she noticed, looked right at me, and mouthed 'Thank you.' I thought I had died and gone to heaven. When I do die, I'll know I'm in heaven when I hear her voice once again.

The ghost of her beautiful voice haunts YouTube. She was the victim of uncontrolled fame of the 1970's but her sound transcends that time. I am unsure why the naysayers put her down but reply saying that they should explain what other than style is worth quibbling. Indeed there is no denying her gifts.
