I’m so happy her beautiful voice, music and collaborations brought so many people together. This song makes me tear up. I feel like i've heard this before when I was very young, but it reminds me of when I was younger living alone with my mom before life became a struggle. Me and her lived in a little apartment and a fond memory I have is watching the old tv shows from the boomerang channel with her. And now I’m 14 and just hearing this again. When my mother had sent me to live with my uncle when I was 17, he would always play this song and tell me to relax. I was a heavy drug user at the time. I was 14 yo when this tune came out. It was summer, a few months before my country (Argentina) had gone to hell in the biggest crisis of our history. But I was playing with my cousin in the pavement, playing football and talking about Dragon Ball Z and Evangelion, and this song was on repeat on every radio station. Despite the horrible situation around us, we had a great summer that year, meeting more friends and new people around the neighbourhood, kicking the ball and biking everywhere.
I would listen to this tune over and over again throughout the years, in every place I ever lived I listened to it more than once. It's been 20 years now, things are so different. I no longer live in Argentina, I am in a chimpanzee sanctuary in Sierra Leone and I am playing this song for a co worker of mine, is the first time she has ever heard it. She immediately added Telepopmusik to her playlist and is checking if she could see them live. My cousin has 2 babies and is a happy hip-hop music producer and events organiser.
I was thousand of kilometres away from the place where this band is from when I first heard this song, I am thousand of kilometres way now again, yet I listen to this track and all these beautiful memories come to my mind, I can almost picture every situation in which I played it to make the atmosphere just perfect. From a flat in San Telmo to a hostel in Copenhagen and from camping site in Norway to a jungle in Sierra Leone. Good music is timeless, and unites people and memories.

Me too! I've been in love with this song since the first time I heard it!! I snuck into my sister's room to look at her drawings and paintings when she was away and I remember it like a dream.. This was playing in her room.. One of my all time favorite days! That probably sounds funny but my sister never shares her wonderful art with anyone and hasn't since so it was like one of the most special things I've ever experienced!

dude i remember the first time i heard this song. it was at a lounge in UnionSq., Manhattan, 2009. I asked for the song, but the guy just said he had pandora playing so he didn't know who it actually was. I somehow remembered the lyrics and eventually found it online, a year or so later.

I once had a perfect moment in my life. Everything was perfect for once. I entered my room in a plush hotel in San Francisco for my honeymoon. This song was playing on the radio there. Truly set the mood, I loved it and yet had no idea who it was. It took several years to find out who they were. Now its a main staple of my music intake when I need to take things down a notch.
