THE 4th ALBUM
After three successful albums, 'Vagabonds' is the new T-99 record. It contains 13 original tracks treated with the well-known T-99 formula: a blend of rootsy, rockin' and bluesy elements, flavoured with some exotic melodies. This new album by T-99 lures the listener inside a musical sideshow where geeks, freaks, fire eaters and human cannonballs hold sway. The band signed for production themselves and the album has been released by their old habitat, the label Cool Buzz.
FORMER ALBUMS
With the release of the album "Coo-Coo" in 2001, T-99 introduced itself as being the most promising new band in the Benelux blues and roots scene. After a few member changes in 2003 the band released another album in 2004 titled "Strange Things Happen". Partly recorded in Amsterdam and Tucson, Arizona it has guest appearances of Teddy Morgan (also production) and Dave Gonzales of The Paladins. The third album "Cherrystone Park" which was released late 2005 showed besides more catchy songs also a psychedelic side of T-99 that lead them to an even larger audience.
HISTORY
Through the years T-99 showed itself as being a constant factor on (pop) festivals and stages across Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain and the US. In its existence the band has played among others at Noorderslag, North Sea Jazz Festival, Waterpop, Popkomm (DE), Belgium Rhythm & Blues Festival (Peer, BE), Oerol, De Parade, Noorderzon, and Eurosonic. The band also functioned as successful support for Chuck Berry, Dr. John, Los Lobos and Little Feat. Music by T-99 is being used in several TV-shows and programs like NOS Studio Sport, Keuringdienst van Waarde and AT-5 and the trio has done several performances on national Radio and TV. In May 2008 the band was invited by radio DJ Mark Lamarr to make exclusive recordings at the London BBC studio's for the popular radio show 'God's Jukebox'.

Feel the flow, here I am
Pump the track up let it go
I can do it fast or slow
Stimulation of the drum
Don't be blind, deaf and dumb
Fever, I'm not playing yeah
You know what I'm saying
But make sure you got some soul
I can do this all the way
Funkadelic everyday
On a mission, full of tricks
There's no doubt this be kicks
One, two, I got it made
Futuristic escapade
(chorus)
Dance now
Let the fever burn your body on
Don't cool down
Let the music open up your mind
Dance now
Let the fire burn your body on
Don't cool down
Cause we're gonna open up your soul
Bass line kick the ...
This is the place and the time
Once again I'm on a rampage rip the stage
Blowin' the cake ready for battle yes I am
Domination the master plan
Gold rush keep in touch
It's quite easy as such
Keep it simple face the faith
...
I'll make time for everyone
Play the men out the gun
Sound goes beyond your vibe
Can you dig it one more time
Funkadelic to the bone
Psychadelic danger zone
(chorus)
* Repeat
(chorus)
My love!
Come on
The lyrics in T-99's song "Nocturne" exude energy and passion towards music and dancing. The opening lines "Program kick the toe jam, Feel the flow, here I am" suggest an enthusiastic invitation to listeners to join in and let the music take over. The artist mentions "stimulation of the drum" and urges listeners not to be "blind, deaf and dumb." The lyrics promote the idea of feeling and experiencing the music and not just hearing it. The verse "Fever, I'm not playing yeah, You know what I'm saying" emphasizes the intensity and sincerity of the artist's message. The artist urges listeners to let the music be their guide and to dance with abandon.
The chorus of the song reinforces the idea of letting the music take over, to let it "burn your body on" and to "open up your soul." The repetition of the lines "Dance now" and "Don't cool down" serve as a call to action, encouraging listeners not to hold back and to embrace the feeling of the music.
Throughout the song, the artist makes reference to funk and psychedelic music, highlighting their influence in their own work. The lyrics express a sense of confidence and authority, with lines like "One, two, I got it made, Futuristic escapade" and "Domination the master plan." The overall message of the song is to let go of inhibitions and embrace the sheer joy of music and dancing.
