Born the last child of nine into a music loving family, he picked up an interest in music at a very early age. Exposed to different genres of music, he coined out a style which fuses Hip-Hop, Afro, and Soul.

T.R.I.P has released 5 complete projects. The first was "The Beginning of The End" while he was in the university in 2010. The second, "The Righteous Kill Mixtape", came 4 years later. This was a 25-track tape that exposed his diversity as an artist. In 2017, his 3rd project, "The Return" got featured on various Spotify playlists. In 2018, he released "The Righteous Kill Part Deuce" which is the sequel to "The Righteous Kill". In 2019 came "Sunlight City".

In 2020, after releasing a couple of singles with the alias “Trip Omon”, T.R.I.P returns with a 5-track EP titled GOTTI.
