Founded in 2013 by musicians who have more than 10 years of experience in the heavy metal music scene, Temperance blends heavy guitars, metal riffs, electronic tracks and elements of folk music into melodic and powerful music. So far, they have released six full-length albums and a live DVD, released through Scarlet Records.
On 6 March 2018, Italian singer Alessia Scolletti announced via Instagram that she had officially joined the band after being a touring member for a while.
On 27 January 2023, Temperance released a statement confirming the departures of Alfonso Mocerino and Alessia Scolletti

Ciao, vi ho scoperto 4 giorni fa per caso su youtube, cercavo un gruppo power metal che mi soddisfacesse, ho trovato altri gruppi prima di voi, bravi anche loro, sempre italiani (ma ignoravo che lo fossero)... abbiate pazienza vi prego di perdonarmi, chiedo umilmente venia per il ritardo di qualche anno 😅. Finalmente ho trovato il mio gruppo preferito. NON CI SI CREDE QUANTO SIETE BRAVI ❤ Sono 4 giorni che mi sto facendo le pere con DIAMANTI, VIRIDIAN e JUPITER and MOONS. Avete centrato in pieno le mie frequenze di risonanza e le coccolate ben bene. Non me ne vogliano gli altri ma la voce che preferisco è quella di Alessia, è pazzesca ... piena, potente, 30 ottave di estensione, è troppo brava😁. Non so se è chiaro, si tratta di una dichiarazione vera e propria in pena regola per il mio gruppo preferito, continuate così che siete fortissimi 💪, vorrei dirvi molto altro ma per un semplice commento mi fermo quì. Grandi, bravi, siete un'eruzione continua di energia benefica.
