1) Templeton are a pop band from Torrelavega, Spain, formed in 2002. They released their first album in 2008 called "Exposición Universal". Band members are Javier Carrasco, Jimmy Ginzo , Santi Castillo, Brian Hunt (Half Foot Outside, Kidsgofree and ex hombre orquesta de Russian Red), Gonzalo Mamano and Álvaro Martínez.
2) Templeton was a pop-punk band from Marlton, New Jersey, originally named Ten Second Rule they started in 2001 then became Templeton in September 2002 playing their first show at Marlton's Scooters. They released the "Millside Four EP" in Fall of 2002 and their only full-length "Accidents and Apoligies" in 2003. Other releases inclued a split with Useless in 2004, and the "True Friends" Single in 2005. They played their last show April 14, 2005 in Mt. Laurel, NJ at Grand Slam USA. Talk about a reunion show in 2007.
3) Templeton was a progressive rock band from Spain. They self-recorded an EP called "Orange is the Change" in 2001. Band members were H. García, A. García (brothers), Alfonso Valdivía and Pablo. You can find reminiscences from bands like Radiohead and Pink Floyd in their songs.
4)
Templeton is currently based at the very tip of Africa but enjoys roaming the planet for isnpiration. This solo singer songwriter has been performing/recording since the early 90’s and has slowly built up a listener base of like minded people. The best way to describe this artist would be to take the following ingredients: Take the carefully constructed sounds of Zero7 add the intensity of Radiohead, mix this with the mourful twang of Rufus Wainwright and the innocence of Eliott Smith and you have something that sounds like Templeton.
5)
The original band called Templeton (and I know that this is not contestable) is from Columbus, Ohio and was formed in 1998 by Christian Hurd who sometimes uses the pseudonym Errant Kohl and is also the frontman for a Portland, Oregon band named Lookbook.

Miércoles Capítulo
Templeton Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Templeton's song Miércoles Capítulo describe feelings of suspicion, reunion, and uncertainty towards a special connection with someone. The singer mentions how after an August, they began to suspect that they were united in a special way. This suspicion is then followed by a promise of reuniting in the next summer according to letters sent when they were away from each other. After seven years, they reconnected at an exhibition and decided to not be so intense with their feelings and rather say what was inside.
The lyrics show the singer asking for something to happen, as they did not want to be a deer in a room, which can be interpreted as being stuck and unable to move. They mention how things in the palace, perhaps life or relationships, are always getting worse. They then mention how they taught a song to their band, and how one of the members did not like the change of rhythm, suggesting trying it out in a tropicalism style.
The song portrays a sense of unfulfilled longing, the fear of not wanting to be stuck, and the feeling of things continuing to worsen. The singer highlights a desire for change and action; to not be stagnant, to express what has been left unspoken, the fundamentals of things that we know.
