Ten Masked Men is a British death metal cover band who specialize in covering pop songs. The band was formed in 1996 when Mark ("The Mauler") and Dave ("The Chef") Hutson did a cover of Oasis' "Wonderwall". The song was much the same as the original, except it was played with distorted guitars and death metal grunts. It was recorded on a 4-track in a bedroom and was soon followed by "Stayin' Alive", "Into the Groove" and "Beat It". These simple recordings were played to friends and in some clubs. There was still no band name at that time but the moniker Ten Masked Men was adopted after hearing a news broadcast about masked terrorists.
In 1999 the first CD, Ten Masked Men, was recorded and was given out free at a local club. A five-track EP was recorded later that year and Star Wars references came into play with the name The Ten Masked Men Strike Back, which was swiftly followed up with the second full-length CD Return of the Ten Masked Men in 2000.
It was three years until the next CD was recorded, entitled The PhanTen Masked Menace. A new full-length album came out in early 2008, entitled Attack Of The Ten Masked Men.
The band appeared on Channel 4 television in the UK on the late night show Born Sloppy, where special guest Jack Osbourne had to guess the name of the tune that Ten Masked Men had just played. Due to legal issues the band were only allowed to play 30 seconds of each song, which were "Livin' La Vida Loca", "...Baby One More Time" and "Push It". The band also played live on the XFM breakfast show.
Ten Masked Men have covered songs ranging from Frank Sinatra, to 1980s hits like Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer", and modern hits such as "Seven Days" by Craig David and "Something Kinda Ooooh" by Girls Aloud. Each album also features a song from the soundtrack to one of the James Bond movies.

The Look Of Love
Ten Masked Men Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And gravity won't pull you through
You know you're missing out on something
Well that something depends on you
All I'm saying, it takes a lot to love you
All I'm doing, you know it's true
All I mean now, there's one thing
That's the look, that's the look
The look of loveWhen your girl has left you out on the pavement (Goodbye)
Then your dreams fall apart at the seams
Your reason for living's your reason for leaving
Don't ask me what it means
Who's got the look? I don't know the answer to that question
Where's the look? If I knew I would tell you
What's the look? Look for your information
Yes there's one thing, the one thing that still holds true
(What's that?)
That's the look, that's the look
The look of loveIf you judge a book by the cover,
Then you'd judge the look by the lover
I hope you'll soon recover,
Me I go from one extreme to another
And though my friends just might ask me
They say "Martin maybe one day you'll find true love"
I say "Maybe, there must be a solution
To the one thing, the one thing, we can't find"
That's the look, that's the look
The look of love
That's the look, that's the look
The look of love
That's the look, that's the look
Sisters and brothers
Should help each other
Oh, oh, oh
Heavens above
That's the look, that's the look, hip hip hooray, ay
That's the look, that's the look, yippee ai yippee aiay
That's the look, that's the look
Be lucky in love
Look of love
The song "The Look of Love" by Ten Masked Men is a cover of a hit song by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The lyrics of the song explore the idea of love and how it can bring happiness and positivity into one's life. The first verse describes the feeling of being lost or disconnected from the world, and how love can fill that void. The chorus emphasizes the importance of the "look of love" in a relationship and how it can turn a gray sky blue.
The second verse uses imagery to describe the pain of heartbreak and the confusion that comes with it. The lyrics suggest that there is no concrete answer to the questions about love and the "look of love" that people may have. The singer also discusses the difficulty of finding love and the possibility that there may be a solution or answer to this problem.
Overall, the song is a contemplative and hopeful exploration of love and the many emotions and experiences that come with it.
