They described themselves as awkward musicians who love pop melodies and bad recordings. The name doesn't have any special meaning behind them and were taken from a typography/graphic design magazine called Textfield. The bassist, Imran joined the band later in 2012.

They have released a slew of bedroom recordings during their early days, an EP (This Wasted Heart) in 2011 and recently their first album "Tourist Car" in October 2012. They have performed in clubs, living rooms, art galleries and festivals, sometimes sharing them with their favorite bands and musicians
