Son holds out a railroad spike
Says Daddy what could this be
Son that's the tooth of a dinosaur
They called the Santa Fe
In his hand lay an arrowhead
Said Granddad what does it mean
Son that's the heart of an Indian tribe
They called the Comanche
Times killin' you
Times killin' me
Should have taken more time in between
How many things stand the test of time
And what will remain in the end
The eyes of a child see the failures of man
What will he see as a man
Times killing you
Times killing me
Should have taken more time in between
