1) The Blakes recall the stinging catchiness of the early Who, Kinks, and other 60s spitfire rock bands. Brothers Garnet and Snow Keim (both on vocals) busked around the country, writing songs, 'till they ended up settling in Seattle.' There they met drummer Bob Husak and since have been touring the world with everyone from The Gossip to the Kills to Brian Jonestown Massacre, reached #1 on KEXP, garnered Top 10 album of '07 on iTunes and perform at clubs internationally and at US festivals from Lollapalooza to Bumpershoot to Sasquatch to SxSW.
The Blakes have received critical adoration and massive airplay for their bone-rattling anthems "Don't Bother Me," "Two Times" and "Streets" from their self titled LP. The album was mixed and mastered by Martin Feveyear (Kings of Leon, The Epoxies).
The Blakes songs have been featured in The Hills, 90210, How I Met Your Mother.
The Blakes return with an international tour and their second full length release "Souvenir" through WeAreOkay Records.
2012 saw The Blakes release Art of Losses. Their critically acclaimed 3rd record. Chaske Spencer(Twilight) appears in their video for "Narwhal".
The Blakes side project is BEADS

I came from the shore
*itch I'm no f**king wh***
Oh, I know oh I know, Oh I know
Wait I don't know were I'm going
Somebody help, I'm lost, I'm walking down the streets
Oh woah
(Help)
The Mother Mother street lights flicker (Help, Help, Help)
They flicker, they flicker, they flicker (Help, Help, Help)
There Scaring Me
B**** im no no no no
Im gonna Run (Gonna continue down the Streets)
I Walk Down, Make a splash with the puddles
Make A Splash, Make A Splash
Im Walking down, Im walking down
The Streets, The Streets
And I can feel the rain
Its Midnight, Its Midnight
Its Midnight
The Street lights are flickering
I walk in the puddles
Damn Its 3 AM
Oh Damn its 3 Am
Im Seeing shadows behind me
Oh F**k Those arnt Shadows
Ahhhh
The Streets the streets I'm scared of
The streets at midnights, the streets at 3 AM
The Streets
(Help)
The Mother Mother street lights flicker (Help, Help, Help)
The Mother Mother street lights flicker (Help, Help, Help)
They flicker, they flicker, they flicker (Help, Help, Help)
There Scaring Me
B**** im no no no no
Im gonna Run (Gonna continue down the Streets)
I Walk Down, Make a splash with the puddles
Make A Splash, Make A Splash
Help Me!
Im Walking down, Im walking down
The Streets, The Streets
And I can feel the rain
Its Midnight, Its Midnight
Its Midnight
The Street lights are flickering
I walk in the puddles
