One Friday night I took a pill or maybe two
On a Friday night, I consumed one, or maybe two pills of an unspecified nature.

Down at the car park I saw everyone I knew
At the parking lot, I came across a bunch of familiar faces.

And before the night had started we had planned to crash a party
Even before the night had begun, we had already plotted to invade someone else's party.

Just a place that someone knew a local house belonging to a gangsters crew
We aimed to take over this party, which was being held in a house that was said to be owned by a group of criminals.

And at the door they shone a light into my face
Upon arriving at the front door, a beam of light was shone onto my face.

Have to admit I felt a little out of place
I must confess that I felt somewhat like I didn't belong there.

But I made my way inside past a thousand crazy eyes
Despite feeling like an outsider, I managed to maneuver my way into the party, past the gazes of the numerous and unstable party-goers.

Then a friend took me aside said everyone here has a knife
One of my acquaintances pulled me to the side and warned me that every person at the party was carrying a knife.

I've seen it all
I have experienced everything that I could have possibly imagined.

I've seen it all now
I have been exposed to every circumstance that I never thought was possible.

I swear to god I've seen it all
I promise that there is literally nothing that can happen that would catch me off guard after this night's events.

Nothing shocks me anymore after tonight
After everything that has transpired tonight, absolutely nothing has the capability of surprising me anymore.

Those little doves had sent my mind and heart a-beating
Those small pills that I ingested earlier caused my mind and heart rate to race.

To say I felt weird really doesn't need repeating
It should go without saying, but I felt incredibly strange and out of myself.

I could sense the mounting tension the atmosphere of violence
I picked up on the growing sense of tension and violence within the party's environment.

And then they took a guy out side and someone stabbed him with a knife
Everything escalated when they dragged a man outside and another individual proceeded to stab him with a knife.

I've seen the light but not the kind I would have liked
Although I have experienced a lot, tonight's events were not exactly what I was hoping to witness.
