The chipettes are 3 female chipmunks, called the chipettes from an old episode, where the chipmunks and chipettes compete for the title, the chipmunks, and then win, get boo'ed and then come up with the name Chipettes. Brittany is the leader, and fashion queen. Jeanette is the shy but smart, and Eleanor is the sporty girl, but not so much in the cgi movie.
