The lyrics of The Communards’ song, “Don't Leave Me This Way”, touch on the intense feelings of love and dependency that one can experience when in a romantic relationship. This song came out a couple of months after I met my husband in 1986. We were together for34 yrs until I lost him in 2020 to pancreatic cancer at 58 yrs old. This song takes me back there.
