Whats the answer
Memory in my mind, I can't find
Running out of time, please tell me again, sir
Memory in my mind, I can't find
Memory in my mind,
This memory in my mind,
Was it there the whole time?
This memory in my mind,
No i cant find,
This memory in my mind,
Was it there the whole time?
The lyrics to The Crimes' song "In My Room" depict a sense of confusion and frustration regarding the inability to remember something. The repeated line, "Memory in my mind, I can't find," reflects the desperate search for a specific memory or answer that seems to elude the singer. The lyrics convey a sense of urgency, with the mentioning of running out of time and pleading for someone to tell them again.
The repetition of the phrase "Memory in my mind" emphasizes the persistence of the singer's struggle, as if the memory is just on the brink of recollection but remains elusive. The line, "Was it there the whole time?" suggests a sense of doubt and uncertainty, leaving the singer questioning whether the memory ever truly existed or if it has been lost forever.
The lyrics capture the universal experience of trying to remember something important, invoking feelings of frustration, confusion, and urgency. It could be interpreted as a metaphor for larger existential questions or personal struggles, such as grappling with one's identity, the passage of time, or the search for a purpose.

It's not unknown for people with severe headwounds to get up and wander around or even wander off altogether. Needless to say, they may say odd things about their daily life. Had a mental breakdown? He lost his whole family, his farm, and his livelihood, so not so hard to believe. They didn't seem to look for anyone else, beyond one of the victims. Sigh. In the second case sounds like the daughter had every opportunity to dose her mother and some inclination to do so.

That is really crazy that a 72yr old man would kill his family and them smash himself in the with enough force to crack his skull in 3 places. Can you imagine the fortitude it would take to do that to your self?! You bodies natural instinct would not let your arm swing that hard at the headโฆ

If Farmer Tom had a history of being a violent sleepwalker, then I'll believe it could've been possible for him to have murdered his family. Otherwise, i think was someone who knew the family. As for Edward, his case is a little tricky. If Anne had died before he left, i would've thought he was guilty without question. But, she was getting better and didn't die until after he left (2-3 days left). Also, it's mentioned that there were "medicinal amounts" of arsenic in her system. How do we know it wasn't the medicine that killed her? Or, someone was giving her more than the recommended dosage?

After watching so many true crimes etc., I have to say that when there is a need to mention that someone was active in church, it's so huge red flag, that I would suggest as a crime prevention to just investigate all people who are remarkably active in church :D
