1. The Days (formed: 2005) from South Devon, United Kingdom
2. The Days from Chicago, IL, United States
3. The Days (1988-1991) from East Manchester, United Kingdom
4. The Days from Birmingham, United Kingdom
5. The Days, grunge band from Poland
1. Front man, Luke Simpkins, 24, and bass player, Dan Simpkins, 25, are brothers from Ivybridge in South Devon. They met their drummer, Harry Meads, 24, at school and in July 2005 after meeting again at Ugbrough fair they formed The Days. Two months later they all moved to London to further the band, found guitarist Tim Ayers,23 , also from school, and quickly earned themselves a place on the music circuit. Although the band’s clean-cut, boyish image will lead to comparisons with several pop/rock teen bands, The Days’ piano rock sound appeals to a much larger audience. They have supported Supergrass, The Fray and more recently Elliot Minor and Scouting For Girls during November-December 2008.
2. The Days are also a creative pop/rock band based out of Chicago, IL. The Days released their first album, Great Big World, which recently appeared as scrobbled on LastFM, in 2005. Now the members are finishing high school or in college (Jordan Stacey, who now attends Cornell College in Iowa). They have committed themselves to continue to bring their music to clubs and college campuses.
3. The Days burst out of unfashionable East Manchester in 1988, flying th flag for psychedelia-tinged indie rock. In their five year existence, they amassed hundreds of gigs throughout the U.K., including two national tours with Factory favourites Northside in 1990 and 1991. They built a great following which led to their own headline dates supported by The Verve. Apart from the 12-inch EP, 'Fly', BBC radio sessions with Marc Radcliffe and a Granada TV 30-minute special, filmed live at the Heineken Big Top Festival in 1991, The Days' legacy is one of unfulfilled promise.
4. The Days were a band from Birmingham, United Kingdom, consisting of band members, Julian Heath, Richard Heath, Darren Heath, Lee Weston and Ian Wood. They later changed their name to The Glory. Lee Weston is currently in the band This Love Affair.
5. The Days from Poland. Grunge rock band existing in '90s.
I Want To Know
The Days Lyrics

What do i feel?
Oh can't you tell when you look in my eyes
Losin balance the way she fallin for me
I want you to want me like I want you now
I cant believe this is happening
I wanna snap out of reality
Did she ever love me really?
Look at my face
What do i feel?
Oh can't you tell when you look in my eyes
Losin balance the way she fallin for me
I want you to want me like I want you now
I'm like the least of all your problems
You can reach me if you wanna
Stay up if you wanna
We can fuck if you wanna
Outside my head, it's pretty bright out here
Lost sight of what I said, don't mean to lie out here
In these lyrics, The Days express a deep longing for someone's affection and a sense of disbelief about the current situation. The singer's face serves as a window to their emotions, and they question whether others can see what they feel by looking into their eyes. There is a mention of losing balance, symbolizing the intense emotions they are experiencing as this person falls for them.
The lyrics emphasize a desire for reciprocity in love. The singer wants the other person to desire them as strongly as they desire them. They long for a connection where both parties are equally invested. The intensity of this longing is expressed through the repetition of "I want you to want me like I want you now."
However, amidst this yearning, doubts and insecurities arise. The singer questions whether the love they have received from this person was genuine. They struggle to comprehend the reality of the situation and feel a strong urge to escape from it.
The next paragraph suggests the singer's willingness to be there for the person they desire. They express being the least of the other person's problems, indicating a readiness to provide support. There is also a hint of sexual tension in the lyrics, suggesting a desire for physical intimacy. It becomes evident that the singer is trying to appeal to the other person, offering various options like communication, staying up together, or engaging in sexual activity.
Towards the end of the lyrics, the perspective shifts, and the focus is on the singer's internal struggle. They mention being outside of their head, implying a step away from their thoughts and emotions. The external world appears bright in contrast to their inner turmoil. There is a confession of losing sight of what they initially said, indicating a possible tendency to make false promises or deceive. The singer acknowledges the impact of their own actions on the situation, admitting that they don't intend to lie but have found themselves in this position.
Overall, these lyrics describe the yearning for reciprocated love, the confusion and disbelief surrounding the situation, and the singer's struggle to reconcile their desires with their own actions and insecurities.
