I can feel the love you have for your plants. As a Gardner myself . I felt the "got a Lil sidetracked " and you potted up the baby , soon to be adult basil. I started laughing cause I have been sidetracked a many times reporting the baby stragglers. So sweet !!

Hi,

Citrus Basil is one of my favorite too ! you know you can keep it longer by putting it in a bottle with olive oil and keep it in a dark place during a month, then filter your oil to remove the greens. Then you just have to use your olive oil with a citrus basil flavour in your salad, it's delicious ! you also can do another one with normal basil or thai basil with some garlic, it's flavorful too

I have a suggestion to overcome the difficulty of the first cut to get the tray started: When you seed the tray, leave the corner of the tray without seeding. I love your videos. I watch them again and again, mostly for inspiration, because I have already learned from you the fundamentals of microgreen-ing <--- that's my made up word.

So glad to hear about the heavier watering rather than twice daily. I just asked about the misting twice per day on FB yesterday because starting work at 6:00am with a 1 hour (60km) drive to the office will make watering in the mornings pretty difficult for me.
Love your content btw, thank you.

Amazing content. My mom and I love watching your channel, you're the 1st channel we watch when we want to learn about the growing process of a new type of microgreen

You are a GREAT teacher! I love ow thorough you are and you added the info on how to make starts from the little stragglers, awesome :) Question: Should I wash my trays before I use them the first time and should I wash them after each crop harvest before a new crop?

Love the video! Been waiting for this one. We have done a ton of experimentation with basil and find that the top tray is unnecessary. Just put a black out dome right over your freshly seeded flat! Also they are SO hard to get to stretch. We had to actually bring them into the house in a dark room EVEN WHILE USING THE DOME! 2.5 inches from the soil before putting them under the light is our longest basil so far. Also, if you skip germination and blackout completely and just put the seeds right under the lights the true leaves come out and grow wayyy faster at the expense of height.

The quality of your content improves every video! Can't wait to see what's next

One of the best microgreen videos, thanks. So much info and the humour keeps it interesting. All the best with your growing and I hope for more interesting vids.
