The Head Cat is a rockabilly supergroup formed by Lemmy, Slim Jim Phantom, and Danny B. Harvey after recording the Elvis Presley tribute album Swing Cats, A Special Tribute to Elvis in 2000. After recordings were finished the guys hanged around and Lemmy picked up an acoustic guitar and started playing some of his favorite old songs by Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, and Eddie Cochran and the rest of they guys knew them all and joined in. The name was created by combining the names Motörhead, The Stray Cats, and 13 Cats which resulted in The Head Cat, similar to what Lemmy did in 1980 with Headgirl, a collaboration beetween Motörhead and Girlschool.
In 2006 the band released their first studio album Fool's Paradise which includes cover-songs from artist such as Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Jimmy Reed, T-Bone Walker, Lloyd Price, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash. On the recordings Lemmy played acoustic guitar but on live performances Lemmy uses his signature Rickenbacker bass saying "I'm just not that good on guitar". A year later a DVD of a live performance filmed at the Phantom's Cat Club on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip which included 13 songs performed live and interviews with the band.
In 2011 The Head Cat signed to Niji Entertainment Group, a label that was created by Ronnie James Dio and his wife and manager, Wendy Dio. They plan to release a new album named 'Walk The Walk... Talk The Talk' To be released on 21 June 2011.

When youtook me in your arms.
I was dazzled by your kisses, blinded by your charms.
I was lost in a fool′s paradise.
Good and lost in a fool's paradise
When you told me that you loved me,
I gave my heart to you.
And I wondered if there could be anytruth in love so new.
Good and lost in a fool′s paradise.
The whole world was my kingdomand your love the gem in my crown.
Then I saw you glance at a new romanceand my love came tumbling down.
Well you treat me kinda coolish and may never let me know
That you think I'm being fooling because I love you so
I'll still get lost in a fool′s paradise.Lost with you in a fool′s paradise.
The Head Cat's song Fool's Paradise speaks about the experience of falling in love and how it can lead you into a state of delusion. The first few lines talk about the intense feeling of being in the arms of the person you love and how their charm and love took the singer to heaven. The lyrics then highlight the feeling of being completely lost in love, not seeing things as they are, and ignoring the reality of the situation. The singer wonders if the love is true or not, but still gives their heart to the person they love and feel that the whole world is theirs.
However, this happy state of being doesn't last forever, and the lyrics go on to talk about the unpredictable nature of love. The singer sees their partner glancing at a new romance, and quickly the love they had for each other begins to fall apart. This line expresses the sudden realization that love can be fickle and can vanish within seconds. The last few lines of the song talk about how the person who is in love chooses to ignore the truth, believing that they will still get lost in a fool's paradise with their partner.
In summary, the song is about the highs and lows of love and how it can deceive you into a false reality, but despite all this, you can still choose to ignore the truth and get lost in a fool's paradise.
