I watch a lot of crime documentaries because I've always liked reading police stories, Agatha Christie, Georges Simenon, Peter Cheyney or watch Philip Marlowe movies, etc. ID Discovery, Crime and Investigation and CBS Reality present hundreds of films a week in my country, Romania 🇷🇴. But my favourite has been The New Detectives for more than 30 years since it was first aired here. Gene Galusha is the bonus to the quality of this crime show. He's great, just like Peter Thomas, the host of "Medical Detectives", J V Martin, "Ice Cold Killers" or Steven Kemble, "FBI Files". Thanks for this show.

It’s pretty uncommon in the US. But all the armed forces here put the day first. But I don’t know how they determined it was a marine since the Air Force and the Navy do this too.

I break into someone's house to burglarize them and then I discover that while I THOUGHT they were away from home, they actually were in bed asleep. Now I have a decision to make. Do I beat feet and get the heck out of there? Why no. I think I'll just eliminate both of them and then stupidly take their car and mosey on down to the ATM where a camera can preserve for posterity my face using the car and the card of a couple who has just been discovered lifeless in their bed. Now who would have thought that this would have turned out wrong?

Stacy had a strange bruise on the inside of her leg and her ex-husband, who found her body, wore a brace on his leg because he had childhood polio. Aw gee. I wonder if there could be any connection between the brace and the bruise.

Too many people are both in prison and on death row that are innocent. Thank god they now have the innocence project, might not help them all in time but it beats the single lawyer fighting tooth and nail for their client.

I’ve never seen that done here in the US other than people in the military. And I’ve been all over the United States. Even when I worked at a couple of banks and ran all of the checks that came into the bank. Never once have I seen that done except for military or if a person was taught by a parent or teacher that has been in the military. Or if they are taught by someone from another country. And those instances were few and far between. Every bit of paperwork or forms on the internet are uniformed and platformed for month, day then year. Never ever day first.

I have read the reason for death sentences commuted to “ life” , is that the drugs for lethal injection is very expensive. Costing more than keeping them in for life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sounds ridiculous to me but I haven’t researched the truth of it….. I feel if you’re DNA convicted of murder, you forfeit your right to life, even if it’s behind bars. Edit : USA has 27 states with the death penalty, fyi.
