Great song! Great blue eyed soul

Nice cover of The O'Jays classic , nearly not as expensive as the O'Jays version. A nice 45 to have at a good price !

Wow, Vinyl singles.   My dad's bar had them in the juke box in '89.

MTN - A Rainbow Pastures Company

This song was the B-side to their hit "The Rapper". After a few singles on Kenny Gamble's own label, they ended up on Kama Sutra for only one single.

"Born Poor" was the B-side to "The Rapper" (late 1969) and "I'll Never Forget You" was more in the band's blue-eyed soul comfort zone that became the b-side to "Let's Talk About Love," (early 1971), All in all, one Kama Sutra lp ("We Went to Different Schools Together", 1970) and five singles (1969 - The Rapper/Born Poor; 1970 - I Call My Baby Candy/Will She Believe Me; 1970 - What a Bummer/Memories of the Traveller; 1971 - Let's Talk About Love/I'll Never Forget You; and 1973 - Ain't That Sad/Let's Talk About Love [as the b-side]).
After their contract ran out at Kama Sutra, The Jaggerz released an independent single ("The Streaker Parts 1 & 2, 1974) before signing on with Wooden Nickle Records, an RCA Victor subsidiary, and made one album in 1975 ("Come Again") and its spin-off single, "Two Plus Two"/"Don't It Make You Wanna Dance."
The group disbanded by the late '70's but reformed in 1989 with revised band personnel and perform frequently throughout western PA and eastern OH. The Jaggerz now record digitally, with "The Walk" (2014) as their most recent CD

Singles "I Call My Baby Candy" and "What A Bummer" were also released on Kama Sutra.
