@@zrayish5164 That is not correct. Spirit is about Love, not Law and Justice. You cannot confuse Love with Law and Justice. They are completely different applications with completely different contexts..

Love keeps no record of wrong, and does not judge. Love is is not about preventing injustice, it is about changing the heart and mind. Love is not about expediting legal sentences against injustices proscribed under law. It is law that is responsible for expediting legal sentences against injustice.

The Spirit of Love seeks justice but it does so through its fruit, its virtues, which change the heart and mind and life. Love is a power for change not an instrument of punishment.

Justice has its context in the criminal justice system of the land in which one livse. Law in Ancient Israel was an assigned law to that nation alone, for only Israel was the God of Israel's own. Israel was directly answerable to God as a nation. It is why God carried out judgment directly in Israel. That does not happen today. We are not led by law, we are led by the Spirit. The Spirit is Love.

Ostensibly the law assigned to Israel was a religious law with punishment for transgression of its precepts. Justice was carried out against offenders by religious leaders following a just trial. That law does not exist today because Ancient Israel does not exist today.

Even Paul says, law is for criminals, not for the righteous offspring of God. Likewise today law in the land where we live, law is for criminals not for offspring of God. Offspring of God are led by the Spirit of Love within. Those who are led by the Spirit of Love commit only acts that are good, not acts that are harmful.

You clearly need to learn the diffference between the Spirit of Love and the Justice system of Law in the nation of ancient Israel as well as in modern nations. Then you will be able to distinguish the difference between Love and Justice.

Btw justice is only served when criminals are punished. If they are not, then justice is not served. Even then its only a deterrent. No justice system can change the heart and mind and the direction of life. Only the Spirit can do that. God's Spirit of Love can and does change the heart and mind and the life.

@@zrayish5164 But now I want to answer your comment directly.

YOU: God judges precisely because he is Love.
ME; On the contrary God does not judge because he IS Love. God is Spirit and our Spirit is Love. We are Spirit offspring of God who live and move and have our being in God. So our Spirit is Love.

YOU: Justice is essential to loving at all.
ME: Love seeks justice as the fruit of loving all.

YOU: We live in a world with murder, rape, & countless other evils that occur every day.

ME; Correct. Thats because as humans we are evolving in Love and evil is always the consequence of a failure to Love. But Love cannot be forced. Until we as humans learn to live in love then evil is here to stay. Good and evil will always remain.

YOU: For God to not judge evil in kind would not only rob Him of having a perfectly good nature,
ME; God has children and he is responsible for allowing them to evolve within love. Making mistakes is all part of human evolution. It is BECAUSE of love, that God permists man to choose good or evil. Its not a filure of love its the love of a parent. Its not about robbing God of Love, its about God not being a bully and a control freak and being a tyrant. At the same time, we reap what we sow. There are consequences for the lives we live in human bodies. These we will face at our Life Review where we will see our lives in panoramic visions and see where we have suceeded and where we have failed and where we need to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them. We will continue to mature in love throughout eternity.

YOU: but would mean that the crucifixion & resurrection was for nothing at all.
ME: The crucifixion and resurrection was of the man of Israel, out of the old covenant of law, into the new covenant of Spirit. Christ died for all in the world of Israel, not for all in the rest of the world. The rest of the world has never been under the law of Israel. Jesus was Israel's Messiah, not ours. He was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The nation Israel is the audience of the BIble, not all nations.

Only Ancient Israel was ever under a covenant of law and thus only Ancient Israel had to die to the man of sin-law-death, and be made alvie to the new man of righteousness-Spirit of Grace-life.

Our souls have sprung from God, hence we are offspring of God (Acts 17:28), born of the Love that is the Spirit of God. That is our highest nature while we have taken human nature and live among the nations of humanity. But your mistake is taking ancient Israelite and Jewish scripture written by and for Israelites and Jews, and applying it to all races and all nations. We are not Ancient Israelites counted as "born from below", born under a covenant of law, and standing before the God of Israel in that old covenant status and legacy. Sorry but you have the wrong audience.

YOU: That happened so that we could be redeemed from the deserved judgement that is coming to us all.
ME; No, it has nothing to do with us. It had to do with Ancient Israel only. The judgment of which you claim for us all was in fact the judgment that came upon Ancient Israel alone in AD 70. This happenened because Israel broke the covenant. As a nation it committed adulterly and refused to heed the warnings of judgment. In effect it committed spiritual suicide. It rejected Jesus the Christ, its Saviour. The Judgment was of the physical nation which stood before God under the covenant creation identity (status and legacy) of sin-law-death
and in that consciousness. It rejected righteousness-grace-life gifted it in Jesus. God does not force the consccience as you are implying. God had formed and created Israel under covenant, the goal of which was to redeem Israel from sin-law-death consciousness (Isa 43:1). God through Christ, was Israel redeemer. It was Israel that was in need of redemption. Jesus was Israel's Redeemer. Jesus saved his people from their sin, where sin was imputed because of law. Its why he was called Immanuel at his birth. This is precisley why he was sent, appointed and annointed. His people not us. We are not Jesus people. Don't get me wrong. I think Jesus was a wonderful man but he is not my Saviour because I am not belonging to an ancient people called Israel whom Jesus saved from their sins. So you've got the wrong audience.

YOU: also, the Bible is chalk full of examples of God bringing judgement on wicked individuals, nations, & in the days of Noah, the whole world.
ME; Sure, but these were peoples and nations in ASSOCIATION with the patriarchal fathers of Israel and then the 12 tribes of Israel, and northern nation and the southern nation, and then the kinsmen of Israel scattered among the nations. Judgment was never once of the whole world. To say they were universal is a huge mistake. But then Christians are always making that assumption. The flood of Noah was not a universal flood. Other nations were thriving before and after that flood took place.. I am not discounting universal flooads having taken place in the history of this planet and perhaps wiping out whole nations but these are not in view in the Jewish BIble.

We are spirts of God making a physical experience as humans. Unffortunately the flesh gets in the way of the Spirit. We are always free to allow that, but we always live with the consequences.

@@zrayish5164 U: “I'm not meaning to put words in your mouth, but would it be correct to say that you believe that either Hell does not exist or that nobody is damned to it since God does not judge?”

ME. That’s right, that’s what I believe.

The following sets out my reasons why. I apologise for their length, but I ask you to kindly cast your eye over it. You see, I once believed exactly as you do now, and I did so for 40 years. I understand your reasons and its why I have taken time to explain mine to the degree I have. Blessings!

“Hope of heaven”, or “fear of hell”, are classic religious notions, myths built around primitive superstitions about God and about the post-mortem state, all of which have been adopted by Christianity birthed as it was in semi-paganism. Such notions are read into the Scripture of Ancient Israel and the results are fantastic distortions of reality.

This shows

1. a misunderstanding of the nature of our eternal soul as God’s Spirit offspring, and of God’s nature which Jesus testified is ‘Spirit’, and of the nature of Jesus himself who in the context of his words and his post-ascension post mortem state, described himself in terms of Spirit (and who would return in Spirit to comfort his disciples til the end of the Jewish world, which ended of the age in AD 70). The Apostle Paul described Jesus as “that Spirit”.

The nature of Spirit is indestructible. It is the very essence of reality. Intrinsic to reality is Spirit, where Spirit is Consciousness. God is the Totality of Consciousness. If you claim the soul can be destroyed, then you may as well claim reality can be destroyed, and God in whom all things exist, can be destroyed. That I am sure you will agree is plain nonsense.

2. A misunderstanding of the difference between creation and Spirit. Spirit is what brings creation into “existence”. Creation is a temporary existence because it has been formed by what itself is source existence. Spirit or consciousness creates form. Thus, creation is a temporary form of existence, and being of a physical three-dimensional form it is temporal. The nature of the soul is uncreated. It is a Spirit emanation “of God” and God is “Spirit”. The soul can no more be destroyed than God can be destroyed.

3. A misunderstanding of what is destroyed as recorded in the historical biblical narrative of Ancient Israel. What can be destroyed (become nothing) is those things to do with a created existence. Existence itself cannot be destroyed. The very idea is irrational. Its a self-contradiction. There can be a state of no-existence for then you have something outside of God in which case God ceases to be “God”. What was destroyed in the Bible was of a temporary and temporal existential nature. It was matter. The flesh is matter. The soult identified by the flesh may have been destroyed, but never was the soul identified by the Spirit.

Moreover, the world of Israel was a world-within-a-world. If the world of planet Earth is temporary and temporal, how much more was the world of Israel, being a world-within-the-world? It was a “creation” formed under covenant of law. It was formed and created by the God of Israel, in that “covenant creation” identity, and ultimately it was destroyed in that “covenant creation” identity. The soul that was destroyed was destroyed in that covenant creation identity ONLY. It was not the eternal soul identity of a Jew as an offspring of God that was destroyed, but the temporary soul identity of the Jew as a covenant created man. The soul of that temporary, temporal identity could be and was destroyed. In actual fact it destroyed itself in that it was a mindset alienated from God (Spirit) and hostile toward God (Spirit). This is because of its self-identification with the illusion of of being separation from God and illusion that separation from God can be bridged by a human potential independent of God. This mindset could gender only the life of the flesh. Spiritually speaking it possessed no efficacy. This the Scripture calls “death”. It was “perishing” in that self-identity. It did not need destroying by anything outside of it because it was already destroying itself. God had given this mindset a standing before Him under law. But being a mind that in terms of self-identity, was set to self-destruct, God could not allow this mindset to remain standing before Him forever. It may be likened to a kind of perpetual spiritual entropy. It was always coming to nothing (“perishing”) and finally God allowed it to pass away in that identity. It and its world, its “heaven and earth”, “passed away” in AD 70. Jesus had declared God would destroy it and so God did. In other words, Jesus owned that the covenant creation world of Ancient Israel would be allowed by God to perish. This time God would not intervene to save physical Israel. The very “God of Israel” destroyed that created covenant identity and every embodiment of that world. This is why the state of Ancient Israel ceased existence at that point in time and why its people became just like any other people. Its covenant world was destroyed. Its mindset which was allowed to have a standing under law, was destroyed. The Gehenna of which Jesus speaks, was the intense suffering of its inhabitants as they saw their world destroyed by fire. But planet Earth was cleansed of its corruption, of its spiritual filth. THAT was the nature of the judgment of which Jesus warned and likened to Gehenna fire. Gehenna fire cleansed from the filth of the City.

That which did “stand” through that Apocalypse was the life of the Spirit in its (in fig) new covenant creation resurrected soul-identity. Those who identified with the new man in Christ were saved in that soul self-identity. This was one where man stood before God according to Spirit (i.e. oneness of Spirit with Christ in God) and no longer according to flesh. All in Israel, believer and unbeliever alike, “lost” their soul in its old covenant flesh identity, but all gained their soul in its new covenant Spirit identity. (Those who did not self-identity with the new, perished with the old and suffered its legacy of shame and disgrace.) This is because the eternal soul is not identified by flesh but by Spirit. Spirit is eternal. That’s why “new covenant” believers saw themselves, as had been predicted in Revelation 14, as standing before God and the Throne of God complete as “Sons of God” (aka “offspring of God”).

All that reject Christ in this life will be judged.

For Americans, wow, the gravity of their future destiny is not one to take lightly as seen by the scriptures captured below, but first where are we today as a nation blessed by God since our inception?

Hosea 4:6 warns of ignorance of the truth (knowledge of God):
...my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

I this not America today - ignorance of God's Word? As a once-Christian nation, many believers in Christ were grafted into the fig tree (Israel) and they are His - the Bride of Christ. Today, it is a minority in America.

The un-repented sinner's final and eternal destination according to the scriptures:

Mark 9:47-48

if your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Rev 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

Rev 20:10
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Rev 20:13-15
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Matthew 18:8
“If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire.

Matthew 13:42
and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:41
“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Matthew 25:46

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Share God's Word to those who are headed to such destruction! The field is ripe with so many in our nation today!

@@fhozza1105 Thank you for your comment. This is my reply - the evidence is all around us of God's complex design in His creation, and the goodness in His wonder. Only 1/2 of Darwin's theory is true and provable, but the other 1/2 is an unproved theory that is the greatest of lies and it is helping to send many such as yourself to eternal destruction should you not accept Christ by faith before your very last breath.

Honestly, you, and ever other American, has no excuse to know God is real for the Bible is available to you to seek the truth. Most ungodly Americans spend more time planning just 1 vacation than ever trying to understand the most important destination any of us could go. Even if you don't own a Bible, it is no excuse when you have a computer, or you stay in a hotel. Think about all the times you've been in a hotel room, and what did you choose to do in that room with the Bible at your disposal to read? At judgement all will know that God is Just, God is Fair, God is Holy, and God is Loving because He has done so much that you might be reconciled to salvation through a free gift of His Son's work upon the cross on your behalf.

The next biggest lie is we do enough good to balance the scales in our favor. Sorry, not you, nor I, nor even, Mother Teresa does. The reality is that God will give each of us exactly what we wanted in this life. For those who did not desire to know God, or those that believe the greatest of lies that God does not exist, and those who commit evil, and especially those that reject Jesus Christ as their Savior, God's Word is very clear that they will be separated from the presence of Jesus Christ in Heaven for eternity at the day of Judgement by a second death (a spiritual death) as stated in Rev 21:8 being destroyed in the eternal lake of fire.

It should be simply logical to any of us that God is not going to allow those into Heaven for eternity and to be among the ones who choose Him in this life for it would be allowing a cancer, or poison to be among those that truly wanted to be there and seek and love God for His wonder and goodness. God gives you this life to determine your eternal life. So, the ungodly are given exactly what they desired here upon this earth - to not know God, and to not be with Jesus Christ for an eternity - which simply means existence in Heaven. You see, each will be judged according to their righteousness, belief in God, and access to knowledge. If those whom have had no access to the knowledge of Christ Jesus who was God's provision for man's sins, their measure of judgement will be different than someone living in the West who should know better and has access to know about Jesus Christ.

The Bible makes it very clear that we are without excuse in that the visible and invisible testify of the existence and glory of God. It is in Romans 1:19-21 as stated by Paul:
"9For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse. 21For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking and darkened in their foolish hearts.…"

For us who live in the Western world, we can know of the great lengths God went for mankind to save us from spiritual destruction by foreshadowing His Son's purpose and sacrifice for mankind thousands of years before he came into this world. In fact, there is no greater love story than the one God gave the world in sending His Son to die for our sins! Would you give your life for your enemy? This is what Jesus did for all of us for we hated Him first, yet He loves us first, and gives us opportunity to know Him.

There is more proof of God's existence, than Darwin's 1/2 truth - simply in the creation of life and it's diversity. Also, there is no denial of Christ's birth, life and death, and God has preserved His Word since it's beginning to any of us in the Western world. In addition, the existence of the Jews and preservation of the Jewish people is another clear indicator of God's existence and the miracles he performs on their behalf. History shows the illogical attempts by world powers to annihilate the Jewish people over and over again. By Vegas odds, they should not exist, yet they do because of God's promise to their Patriarchs. The God of the Bible is a God of Truth and He cannot lie - unlike Allah. You see, even the Jews are without excuse for in the Torah, God's blessing and their curse was clearly written as a covenant (Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 32). What has happened to the Jewish people was foretold thousands of years before it happened. Their final act of rebellion was to reject their promised Messiah, and in 70 AD the curse began just as God told them it would.

If you study history, there is a reoccurring theme for their genocide by more powerful nations. Honestly, it make little logical sense why such preoccupations would exist among Gentile rulers until you realize and understand there is a spiritual war being waged against them by Satan who influences evil men to do his bidding. Another reality of God's existence should be the fact that there is clearly good and evil when measured against God's perfect measure - the 10 Commandments, or the condensed version of 2 commandments by Jesus which summarizes all ten.

Fhozza, this is your chance to seek the truth, please don't let is pass you by or you will be condemned by rejecting God's provision for your sins! Please watch Amazon Prime's free movie, Kingdoms in Time by Doug Batchlor to get a sense the lengths God has gone to prove His existence and the truth of His Word - the Bible. God knew there would be false religions of man to lead men astray from the Truth, so He did what no man could do in foretelling the future to authenticate His Word as the Truth. This movie gives you a small glimpse of this reality.

There have been over 2000 prophecies (very detailed and specific) that have come true to date and they are verifiable to have been written before events transpired. There were over 300 prophecies of Jesus birth, life and death. However there is remaining about 500 prophecies most of which will come true this century as Jesus has shown us this is the season for His coming, and the ancient scriptures validate this as the end of times for God would remember the Jews at such a time as the last days (Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micah, and many books).

What the ignorant do not understand is that God wrote more about this century than any other time in human history. Sadly so many have believed a lie (Romans 1:18-32) that the God does not exist and the Bible is some irrelevant book, some sort of fairy tale, but they could be no further from the truth. The ungodly people among society today are fools that think of themselves as wise just as God declared would happen in the end of days. As of this decade, things will escalate much quicker towards the fulfillment of the majority of these 500 final prophecies until Jesus takes control of the earth. You don't know this fact, but Jesus foretold that man would have WMDs - in Matthew 24:22 he told his disciples that the Father would cut short the days of man (by sending Jesus back to rule earth), or no flesh would survive. The good news is God is not going to allow annihilation to happen, but more will die this century than any other time in human history.

This century, the Jews will get the warrior Messiah, and it will be the one whom they have pierced (Zechariah 12:10). Some 2000 years ago and even today, their religious leaders have hoped for this warrior Messiah. Around 33 AD, Jesus did not fit this description because it was not the time for this purpose. Instead, Jesus fulfilled the other descriptions of the Him as the Messiah (teacher, healer, etc.) because his purpose for that time was to become the sinless lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world for all who believe and have faith in Him. This was the beginning of the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham that his seed would be a blessing to all nations (Genesis 22:18). Yes, Jesus was described throughout the ancient scriptures as the One, the Messiah, whom he was to be at that time fulfilling over 300+ prophecies for the Messiah. Yet, their hatred was their bias and their selfishness did not allow them to see the truth in God's Word, so they helped Jesus fulfill God's greatest act of Love for mankind - to give His life for the sins of all man.

What the ungodly do not understand is the end times clock started on May 14, 1948 when Israel was reborn in a day (Isaiah 66:8-9) as the scriptures declared nearly 3000 years ago. Such a statement was ridiculous for the time, as nations could not be born in a day and other prophecy said the Jews would be scattered to all corners of the earth. There are multitudes of prophecies that when they were written seemed illogical - like that could never happen, yet history proves that they did just as God said the would!!! Another good Amazon Prime movie is called, The God Who Speaks. Also, please watch the movies - Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. He has a great trilogy that includes the Case for Faith and the Case for a Creator.

If you wish to know more about the prophecies yet to be fulfilled, the Bible is the best source, but there are a few good movies that describe some of the things to happen. Watch - "Before the Wrath" and "The Coming Convergence" and "The Final Prophecies". If you don't have Prime, some can be seen on YouTube like "Kingdoms in Time" and "The Final Prophecies."

@shoofly9403

The good news of the Gospel is clearly stated by John the Apostle is in John 3:14-21 for it is a free gift to any who will take it. God wants you as you are today with all the junk and sin in your life for nobody is without it - nobody! If you come to Him as you are, a sinner, in sincerity of heart knowing you need a Savior, then He alone will make you righteous for you can't do it on your own measure. When you put your faith in Him, He will transform you to be spiritually alive.
The biggest lie one can do for themselves is to think - I'm a good person, I do some of this, or some of that to help others, so I don't need God, so I don't need what Christ did on the cross to atone for my sins, because on the balance of good and evil, I think I'll do better. Sadly, you won't or there would have been no reason for God in Christ Jesus, to willingly go to His Death and suffering of all man's sins.

This spiritual birth (e.g. being born again) will change you over time (actions, words, and understanding) through spiritual maturity as you remain faithful and in His Word:
John 3:14-21
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him (by faith) should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Please put your faith in Jesus Christ before you experience your physical death. Someone made a great observation and it wasn't Sir Isaac Newton who wrote much on Bible prophecy as being a strong believer in God's Word as were all the great fathers of our modern day science with the one exception of Darwin. Here is that simply observation of truth...

"If you have been born only once, you will have to die twice(physical and spiritual). But if you have been born twice, you will have to die only once (and you may even escape that one death if Jesus returns to the earth during your lifetime)."

One last comment followed by scripture - for any who might physically die before the age of accountability, they too will only die once. This is very good news for all the aborted babies throughout America and the world. You see, God is not mean and vengeful as many atheist seem to think. If He were vengeful, you and I would not be alive today. God is graceful, and Jesus is proof of His Grace. None of us deserve what Jesus did for us at the cross, yet He did so as the greatest act of Love for His creation! Why? Words are meaningless without action to support them, and this is what the Creator did for you and I - He gave us His Word, and He backed those Words up by giving us His Son! Hopefully, you will come to see and understand this truth for your own life.

I'll put Romans 1:18-32 here because is clearly tells us why America is so messed up and the reality is that our nation won't get any better unless we repent and come to the One whom blessed our nation from its beginning (Jesus Christ)...
Romans 18-32
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

@brianhyde5900

@YTS, like so many today, you are mouthing fear because within the narrow confines of religious ignorance you find yourself, you have allowed yourself to be deceived into believing the "blasphemy" of religion. The "God" of religion is nothing more than a construct of human irrationality arising from primitive primordial fear and insecurity that it (humanity) has projected onto God.

Jesus revealed the fact that man's Spirit is one Spirit with God's Spirit (God is Spirit). And, through Paul, Jesus revealed the fact that there is ONE SPIRIT, whereby Paul concluded that absolutely nothing in time and space can separate man from the Love of God.

The Spirit within man, is God within man, for God is Spirit". Alleging that God needs to forgive and give mercy, is like alleging that our Spirit within needs to forgive or give mercy to itself! The Spirit and its sphere of influence indwelling man, Jesus likened to "the kingdom of God". Jesus taught that no kingdom can "stand" which is divided against itself. The Spirit of God within is indestructible. withstanding anything ego throws at it. No, God's Spirit is not and cannot be divided against It-Self.

There's no context today at all in which God needs to forgive or grant mercy. And even if there were, being Love God would certainly not struggle with the God-Self to find "enough" mercy to forgive as you have insinuated. That insinuation is yet another example of ego at work.

Do yourself a favor, stop listening to fiction and start listening to fact. Start living your life in the Love that is the core essence of your Spirit. Then the Love in your heart and mind will be "shed abroad".

Love casts out fear, so live Love not fear!

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. Without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22.
The wages of “sin=death but the gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23. Jesus condemned himself willingly on the cross and spilled His blood (no blood shed = no forgiveness) and died (wages of sin = death) Hence : We are no longer judged guilty before God because He has paid our debt for us completely as demonstrated in His written word! We all desserve death because we are selfish and quick tempered and conniving prideful stealing lying cursing...(sinful and we know and sense it inside our gut and in our minds, our conscience.

Conclude with John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He have His only begotten (or One and only) Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting Life!!) Wow!! Sounds like a wonderful offer to me. I praise Him for the Life and freedom from the grave and grip of sin. Jesus be praised forever! If you believe this, you are saved! Fact. May God bless all y’all ✌️👊❤️☝️☝️☝️🔑

God never judges. God is Love. Love is kind. Love never keeps a record of wrong. Love seeks reconciliation with the other at fault. Love perseveres; it never gives up. Love does not need to forgive because it never holds anything against the other in the first place.

@zrayish5164

God judges precisely because he is Love. Justice is essential to loving at all. We live in a world with murder, rape, & countless other evils that occur every day. For God to not judge evil in kind would not only rob Him of having a perfectly good nature, but would mean that the crucifixion & resurrection was for nothing at all. That happened so that we could be redeemed from the deserved judgement that is coming to us all.

Also, the Bible is chalk full of examples of God bringing judgement on wicked individuals, nations, & in the days of Noah, the whole world

@brianhyde5900

@brianhyde5900

@@brianhyde5900 I'm not meaning to put words in your mouth, but would it be correct to say that you believe that either Hell does not exist or that nobody is damned to it since God does not judge?
