Hip Hop, the once incredible, uplifting and soulful musical genre was once something to embrace and love... but now with most rappers coming in the game just to put out basic rhymes over generic beats, it's slowly fading out from what it was meant to be. Few artists these days still output the "real hip hop"; that rugged style over relaxing instrumentals, meant to relax your mind and entertain you with rhymes that could make anyone smile. The LJ is part of this minority. He lives to eradicate those who only rhyme for money and not for the love of the music itself. Born the 29th of April, 1991 in Ottawa, Canada as Suraj Lakhansingh Jagai, he was the older of two sons with African roots; his parents being from Mauritius, beside Madagascar (on the east coast of Africa). He moved to Dakar, Senegal at the age of 14 for a posting after his father got a promotion. Since then, LJ's been working on his music constantly, developing a solid style to please the eager ears worldwide. He currently lives in Moscow, Russia until 2009. Even at the young age of 16, he already has released several mixtapes and has completed an album called "The Rebirth of Hip Hop". The album was addressed to all of the people in the east coast of North America complaining that Hip Hop was dead. It simply needs a little cleaning. The LJ is working to cleanse the game and in two or three years, it might be a possibility. Let god make the decision.
