The Lifeguards' Everybody out of the pool and Everybody out' ta the pool are not quite the same but very good each one (both released in 1959). I'm still a great fan. I saw Bill / Comets (quasi all English musicians except Pompilli) at the Conservatory in Liege, Belgium on 14 May 1974 :D)))

I did not know that the "Lifeguards" was the "Comets" ! This song was bigger than ya know in this town ! Thanks immensely ! Did I spell that right ;-)

Bill Haley by contract was not allowed to make a record, so he changed the group name. The writer of the song was Frank Pingatore, whose son is on my friends list

Looks right, you're welcome! It's interesting how some recordings that didn't chart nationally were still big hits locally.

I'm sure this was played in Seattle when I was 9, but I don't remember it specifically. Many songs of the day were very similar. But great fun!

When posting songs by bands, it is sometimes difficult to match the picture exactly with the band members on the recording. All I know is that this recording features some members from Bill Haley's coments so the picture seemed appropriate. It was either that or a generic picture or such which usually does not elicit as many views. I agree that it is best to have a picture featuring the specific members of a band on a recording whenever possible.
