Poison
The Monroe's Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

For your poison love has stained the life blood in my heart and soul dear
And I know my life will never be the same
For my pleading has all been in vain for you and you alone dear
And you know that you are guilty of the same

Into each life a love is born for one and one alone dear
The love I chose was surely not for me
For your poison love has stained the life blood in my heart and soul dear
And I know our love was never meant to be

For your poison love has stained the life blood in my heart and soul dear
And I know my life will never be the same
For my pleading has all been in vain for you and you alone dear
And you know that you are guilty of the same

But still my heart cries out for you and you alone my darling
It makes me never ever let you go
But my pleading has all been in vain for your and you alone dear
And my better judgment tells me to say no

For your poison love has stained the life blood in my heart and soul dear
And I know my life will never be the same

For my pleading has all been in vain for you and you alone dear
And you know that you are guilty of the same

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of the song "Poison Love" by The Monroe's are about a toxic relationship. The singer tells of how the love they had for their partner has tainted their heart and soul. The singer is aware that their life will never be the same again, and that their pleas to make the relationship work have been in vain, as the partner is equally guilty of the toxicity that exists between them. The singer acknowledges that the love they had for their partner was not meant to be because of the poison that was present.

In the second verse, the singer notes that love is an individual experience that cannot be shared. The love the singer chose was not the right one for them because it brought poison into their life. The singer's heart still yearns for the partner despite the toxicity of the relationship, making it hard for them to let go. The singer's conscience advises them against continuing the relationship, but their heart refuses to let go even when they know that it's for the better.

Overall, the lyrics present a sad and melancholic picture of a relationship that is poisonous, but one that the singer can't let go of. They are aware that the relationship is destructive, but their feelings won't allow them to break free from it.

Shaw gets credit for the case on
Dorothy Killgallen.
I give him furthur credit for daring to
connect the dots between
MM, JKF and Dorothy.
But they all avoid the real truth of
JFK's assassination as it happened.
I don't believe any of these researchers
don't know the full truth.
Controlled opposition.

The deaths of the three (Monroe, Kilgallen, Kennedy) will take a monumental effort to get straight.
Another book gives an alternative view of who killed Monroe and Kilgallen.
As I recall that other book it began with a Chicago hairdresser whose body was found in the Chicago River in December of 1962. Shot in the head. This is the mode of a mafia hit.
She had a brother who at the time was a junior in high school. The hairdresser was early 20s.
The result of the book was a claim that the young woman had dated a mafia hit man. They talked about the hit he participated in on Marilyn.
The story was that Dorothy Kilgallen was possibly a CIA asset. The affairs with both Kennedy's was leaked to Dorothy and she publicized it in her substantial media outlets.
Shortly afterward the death of Monroe occurs.
The narrative was different in this book.
That the CIA was behind the Monroe murder in the following way.
Sam Giancana had sent one man Monroe knew who rang her doorbell.
Four hit men were outside hidden.
She opens the door. They rush her.
Tape her mouth . held by the four men they subdue her. The man that rang the doorbell used a hand squeeze bulb enema to anally inject the drugs.
She died and the moved the body from the living room floor to the bedroom.
Later it was learned that the hairdresser knew what happened. Her boyfriend was told to kill her or he would be killed as well.
Kilgallen suspected she was used by the
CIA/mafia coalition to bring suspicion onto Robert Kennedy.
The whole crew that knew will eventually die. JFK, RFK, Jack Ruby, Oswald, Mary Meyers, and Giancana as well. The number of deaths of witnesses grew as well.
Conclusion:
Treason doth never prosper
For if treason were to prosper
None would dare call it treason.

Trump is not the only questionable
Famous person that lived a while
In the White House.

For anyone born after 1980, this man practiced the ancient art of "investigative journalism".

A nearly extinct art form. Dorothy was a Master of it. Just watching her work on What's My Line allows one to see a Sherlock Holmes level mind put the pieces together - she guessed correctly more frequently than anybody else.

In his book, Shaw fails to include the collateral death of Mary Pinchot Meyer, the ex-wife of Cord Meyer (CIA) and former mistress of JFK. Her execution style death was also part of the assassination cover up, as described in Peter Janney's book, Mary's Mosaic. The two books ought to be read and analyzed together.

Gary; You write a book on it? Just a thought.

Yep

I read about that in Operation Mind Control!
