Such a nice way for the writers to show the audience how highschool life can suck for very different people (the jock, the nerd, the criminal and the princess). First season of the O.C. was written to almost John Hughes levels of perfection and I am very appreciative of what it tried to achieve thematically. The show definitely had its ups and downs through the seasons but still is a very commendable look at what it meant to be a teen on the early 00s.

Honestly, compared to the Riverdale-shit teen dramas we get nowadays, the O.C. is a gem, on the ranks of OTH, Dawson's and Smallville

Adam Brody as Seth Cohen is priceless. Can't believe it has already been 4 years since The OC has ended... where does the time go? I don't know why but I always get nostalgic when I think about this show lol
