Aurora
The Six Daisy Jones Lyrics

You found me in flames
It's the daylight of change
Baby, all that stuff is done
You're my morning sun
Aurora, you're, you're my morning sun

When I was away
You called from a fever dream
The crazy ways are done
You're my morning sun
Aurora, you're my morning sun

I kinda think I wanna make it last forever
(Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever)
Mm, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever
(Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever)
Mm, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever
(Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it)

Aurora, I'm here
I won't disappear again
How soon can you come?
Oh, you're my morning sun
Aurora, you are, you're my morning sun
Aurora, you are

Where did you turn (where did you turn)
When you needed tin mints?
When you reached out for my touch (when you reached out for my touch)
And I couldn't give you much?
Of all the time we lost (of all the time we lost)
While I was runnin' from your life (I was running from your life)
To the shadows of the west (to the shadows of the west)
Strung out on the lies (strung out on the lies)
With my tongue out of my mind (tongue out of my mind)
And before they come around (and before they come around)

I kinda thought that night was gonna last forever
(I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever)
Mm, I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever
(I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever)
Mm, I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever
(I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever)
I kinda thought the night was gonna last forever
Kinda thought that night was gonna last forever
Kinda thought the night was gonna last forever
Kinda thought that night was gonna last forever

Kinda thought that night was gonna last forever

As a teen in the 70's who listened to and saw ALL, as in EVERY ONE, of our greatest classic rock bands, I have to say, all of the original new songs in the DJ & the 6 series is the closest sound I've heard to the great 70's since, well, the 70's. The new music and lyrics are phenomenal. I'm a big fan of this show and music and it has my old ass stamp of approval. Yep, I said it.

Mr. E

I was the little kid taggin' along with the teens of the 70's, but the T-Shirt I'm wearing right now says, "I may be old, but I got to see all the Cool bands!"😉 When it's Cool, it just is, ya know? This certainly was. I honestly got a really heavy Fleetwood Mac vibe from the aound and the story, which even with the drama and Hollyweird, is still much closer to "Rock N Roll" than anything I've heard since GVF came out 6 or 7 years back. It's kinda like the phone I think, hooked to a WALL when we were young ... but still much, much Cooler than the insanity of the day. Just when I think the lunatics have completely overrun the asylum, I get a little bone like this ... I'm a 70 model, so a bit younger than yourself, but I must say Sir, on this, I'm right there with ya Buddy

Much love!!! ✌

Same here! I'm wondering why it's not on the radio. It's better than most of the stuff that's on there these days.
