Lavelle Crawford is definitely an outstanding comedian and great story teller. I believe that the Montreal Canada crowd is out of touch. You can tell he wasn't vibing with them either.

They’re not getting the references. For example, I’m guessing they’re not fully catching that “white moms taking kids to the lake” is a reference to white American moms drowning their kids. The joke is that white moms put up with more crap than black moms, but when they snap they turn ultra violent.

Another example is that the name he uses for the hypothetical missing white girl is a stereotypical trendy suburban white name. It’s a small side joke within the bigger one, but again, they clearly don’t realize it.

I am surprised by the lack of Thundercats applause. Maybe it wasn’t aired in Canada.
