While taking a walk, I ran into my old friend Willy and greeted him.

He told me once more about his so-called shitty life, (That seemed great to me)
Willy complained about his life once again, but to me, it didn't seem that bad.

Willy wallows in self-pity and has a defeatist attitude, without ever being self-deprecating. If everyone thought like Willy, no one would have a sense of humor, no one would care about each other or take care of each other.

If everyone had Willy's negative outlook on life, there would be no humor, no listening, and no one looking out for each other.

I came and tried to explain Willy How positive life is.
I tried to show Willy how life can be positive and good.

Either in a good mood or depressed, Misfortune exists
No matter what your mood is, misfortune can still happen.

I like to remember and cherish good times, such as the last time I saw my favorite band play live. Some people focus on sad and depressing things, but I prefer to celebrate and honor happiness.
