Arizona Rain
Three of Hearts Lyrics

Gone too long without rain
And your love is like the water
That makes the river run again
I'm burning like the Tucson sand
Broken as the partched, dry ground
I need to feel you
Raining down
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
Well it feels like forever since
Last time I looked into your eyes
And I need to be reminded
And I need to be revived
So love me like a long lost friend
Caress me like the desert wind
And make a partched heart
Bloom again
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
Rain
I need to feel you
In the Arizona rain
I want to feel your love
In the Arizona rain
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane (I want to feel your love)
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
I want to feel your love like the Arizona rain
Pouring down like a hurricane
I want to drown my soul and wash away the pain
In the Arizona rain
The lyrics of "Arizona Rain" by Three of Hearts describe the desire for a love that can rejuvenate and heal like the first downpour of rain after a dry spell. The singer compares their heart to the desert that has gone too long without rain, and their love interest's love to the water that makes the river run again. The vivid imagery of burning Tucson sand and parched, dry ground highlights the intensity of the longing for the love that brings renewal. The singer needs to feel their love raining down on them like the Arizona rain, drowning their soul in it and washing away the pain, so they can bloom again.
The chorus repeats the same message, reiterating the desire for a love that feels like a hurricane, pouring down relentlessly. The singer wants to be reminded and revived by their love interest, to be loved like a long-lost friend and caressed like the desert wind. The message of the song is simple but powerful, emphasizing the importance of love that can heal and renew, just like the first rain in the desert after a long drought.
