'S Wonderful
Tierney Sutton Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
That you thrill me through, with a tender pash,
When you said you care, 'magine my emoshe
I swore then and there, permanent devoshe,
You made all other men seem blah
Just you alone filled me with ahhhhhhhh......
's wonderful, 's marvellous
's awful nice, 's paradise,
's what I love to see.
You've made my life so glamorous,
You can't blame me for feeling amorous!
Oh 's wonderful, 's marvellous,
That you should care for me!
's magnificque, 's what I seek
You should care for me.
's elegant, 's what I want,
's what I love to see.
My dear, it's four leaved clover time,
From now on my heart's working overtime,
's exceptional, 's no bagatelle,
That you should care for...
That you should care for...
That you should care for me...
The lyrics of Tierney Sutton's 'S Wonderful express elation and gratitude for a romantic partner who has made the singer's life more wonderful and marvellous. The lyrics are playful and flirtatious, with the singer exclaiming that her partner has made her life "glamorous" and "amorous". The singer is clearly infatuated with her partner, praising their elegance and sophistication, and expressing gratitude that they care for her. The lyrics convey a sense of deep affection and appreciation, as well as a joyous sense of romance.
The lyrics also play with language in a clever and witty way. The singer's exaggerated pronunciation of "emosh" and "devoshe" give the lyrics a playful, whimsical feel. The repeated use of "s" sounds in the refrain ("'s wonderful, 's marvellous") also adds to the buoyant, upbeat tone of the song. The playful use of language and wordplay in the lyrics creates a sense of lightheartedness and fun that matches the upbeat tempo and swinging rhythm of the music.

I cannot fathom how they can do this complicated scat singing and remain completely on key and weaving in and out together like there is no tomorrow! I am blown away by the skill exhibited by these two!
