Raining, it's pouring
My love life is boring me to tears
After all these years
No sunshine, no moonlight
No stardust, no sign of romance
We don't stand a chance
I always dreamed I'd find the perfect lover
But he turned out to be like every other man I loved
I loved
Raining (raining)
Pouring (it's pouring)
There's nothing left for us here
And we won't waste another tear
Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, ayy (yeah)
If you've had enough, don't put up with his stuff
Don't you do it (don't you do it)
Ohh, if you've had your fill, get the check, pay the bill
You can do it (you can do it)
Tell him to just get out
(Talk about) nothing to talk about
Pack his raincoat, show him out
Just look him in the eye and simply shout
Enough is enough (is enough)
I can't go on
I can't go on no more, no
Enough is enough (is enough)
I want him out
I want him out that door now
I always dreamed I'd find the perfect lover
But he turned out to be like every other man
I loved
I loved
I loved
I loved
I loved
Enough is enough (is enough)
I can't go on
I can't go on no more, no
Enough is enough (is enough)
I want him out
I want him out that door now
Enough is enough (is enough)
Is enough, is enough, is enough, is enough (yes, I've had it, I've had it)
Is enough, is enough, is enough, is enough (she's had it)
Is enough, is enough, is enough, is enough
Is enough, is enough
Thank you
Tina Arena
Come gimme a big heart, girl
God bless you, good job
God bless you, see you backstage
Is she sweet or what?
Tina Arena, everybody
Woo
This next song is a song that, uh
Oops, I forgot my microphone stand
The song "Enough is Enough" by Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer is a powerful and emotional song about a woman who has had enough of a toxic relationship, and is ready to walk away. The lyrics describe the pain, frustration, and disappointment of a relationship gone wrong, and the determination of the woman to move on with her life.
The song begins with Barbra Streisand singing about how she is bored with her love life and how her dream of finding the perfect lover has not come true. Donna Summer then joins in, adding that there is no love left in the relationship and no chance of reconciliation. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Enough is enough" several times, with both singers proclaiming that they cannot go on with the relationship any longer. The verses mention that if a person has had enough of a relationship, they should not tolerate anything more and simply speak up about it.
The song was released in 1979 and quickly became a hit. It was a duet between two of the most iconic singers of the time, Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer. The song was produced by Gary Klein and was written by Paul Jabara and Bruce Roberts. "Enough is Enough" was on the charts for 7 weeks and peaked at #6.
