Tramway were an organ and jangly guitar male vocaled pop band from Bristol … Read Full Bio ↴Tramway were an organ and jangly guitar male vocaled pop band from Bristol (England) with a Felt-gone-pop sound that is less 'easy' than most Siesta releases, but is of a very high quality. They have a song ('That Old, Old Feelin') that is almost a carbon copy of the Spring (the 1972 band fronted by Brian Wilson's then wife, who were THE MODEL for Adventures In Stereo) song 'Thinkin' Bout You Baby', which was written by Brain wilson and Mike Love. Tramway also do an instrumental cover of the Mary Poppins song "Life's a Country Holiday With Mary" that Dick Van Dyke sings in the scene where they ride calliope horses through a cartoon landscape. It's number 10 on the CD, though it's uncredited on the CD's graphics, which only show 12 of the 13 songs here. (Gullbuy.com)

I used to live in Palm Springs. I did the tram once in the 2000s. For those of you who are thinking of taking the tram, there is a nice visitor center at the top with a couple of restaurants and a bar. A nice place to go and enjoy the views of the valley below.

It’s a lie though. He didn’t complete this feat in 48 hours. I saw him on my flight from ABQ to Atlanta. He pieced together the driving portion from another video to make it look like he faced adversity. Pretty lame

I was visiting Albuquerque for the first time in late 2021, and while driving around I saw a billboard for the Sandia Tramway and decided to stop by. Spectacular ride and the views were stunning, but you need to stay hydrated if you aren't used to the elevation (like me) or you can get a headache almost immediately once you reach the summit. There was even one brave soul who had brought his parachute to the top then proceeded to float down (base jumping). Pretty cool to see.

As a native New Mexican, I'm always so flattered when its featured. I hope you had a wonderful time in my beautiful state.
