Songz was born Tremaine Aldon Neverson on November 28, 1984, in Petersburg, Virginia. Raised a military brat, he recognized his vocal abilities at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, Songz moved to New Jersey to begin his music career.

Wish I was there with you
I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you (no)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no
I miss the way you kiss
Miss the way you wear them heels and make it switch
Miss the way your hair blows in the wind
And I miss you stayin' here 'til the mornin'
Miss the way you put on your makeup
Miss the way you love me too much
It's everything about you, baby
Wanna know where you been lately
Do you go out?
Do you still live at your old house?
Do you got somebody new in your life?
'Cause I can't get you out of my mind
And I wanna erase
But I can't stop seein' your face
And every girl I try to replace you with
Why can't I get over it? Simply 'cause I can't
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (no, no)
No, no, no, no (I can't)
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (no, no)
No, no, no, no
I can't stop
Missin' everything you say
Missin' all the crazy love we made
Why'd you throw it all away?
I want you to know
It's been hell tryna do this without you here
Baby, '07's supposed to be our year
You confront my worst fears
And I had my doubts
Every time you was goin' out
'Cause I knew you were tellin' me lies
And I can't get that outta my mind
And I wanna erase
But I can't stop seein' your face
And every girl I try to replace you with
Why can't I get over it? Simply 'cause I can't
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (no, no)
No, no, no, no (can't stop)
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (no, no)
No, no, no, no
Wish I
Could wake up and forget about you
Not try
To call you when I know I want to
Oh, wish I
I gotta fight this feelin'
Wish I
Can't let it take over me
Wish I
You just don't understand how much you were a part of me
I can't stop missin' you (oh, no)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no (oh, no)
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (I can't stop, I can't sotp missin' you)
No, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you (can't stop)
Wish I was there with you (with you)
I can't stop missin' you (no, no)
No, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you
I can't stop missin' you
I don't wanna stop
I can't stop missin' you, baby
I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you
The song "Missin' You" by Trey Songz is a heart-wrenching ballad about missing a former lover. The artist expresses how he can't stop thinking about this person, and how he misses every little detail about them, from the way they looked to the way they loved. He asks if they've moved on and if they're seeing someone else. Trey admits that he's tried to replace this person several times but keeps failing because he can't get over them. Even though he knows that the relationship is over, he can't seem to let go and forget about them. He ends the song confessing that he can't stop missing them and that he doesn't want to stop.
"Missin' You" is a beautiful song with a simple yet powerful message that resonates with many people who have lost someone dear to them. It was released on May 20, 2008, as part of Trey Songz's third album, "Ready." The single was written by Trey himself, along with Matthew Samuels, and Noah "40" Shebib.
