1.Twoface is the calm sea in the raging storm and the proof that if you believe in the music and fight for it, you can overcome all broken promises and faded dreams. And above all Twoface’s songs are straight from the heart with a touch of insight and melancholy. The first thing that strikes you when you listen to Twoface is the sound. The Twoface sound! It is solid pop music with a nerve of rock. And the music provides a mental breath of air in a hectic life and a jumble of sound. It is hard to let go of the music when you first have caught on to it and Twoface have already built a large fanbase in various countries Twoface started out in Copenhagen, Denmark in the year 2000 as a project based on Henrik Søgaard’s catchy pop songs and his various musical friendships. By the year 2002, the sound of Twoface was defined. For two years, the Twoface project had been playing and recording on their own, when one day, pop/hip-hop producer chief 1 stopped by. Chief 1 had the studio next door and he wanted permission to produce one of the songs that had gotten stuck in his head. A few days later, the song "Fire in Your Eyes" was ready to roll and bring Twoface to the next level. Twoface and Chief 1 decided to take the song straight to the Danish National Radio. They loved it and it became the ..powerplay song of the week... Twoface’s sound caught the attention of other Danish radio stations and record companies, and two weeks later Twoface signed a recording contract with Edel-Mega Records. The incredibly catchy first single "Fire in Your Eyes" was followed by the grandiose single "Revelations Day", which made Twoface the first Danish band with two ..powerplay songs of the week.. in a row on Danish National Radio. The album "Sounds of a Rude World", including the singles "Fire in Your Eyes" and "Revelations Day", was ready to hit the streets in 2003 when financial problems shut down the record label. The Swedish label Playground Music Scandinavia took over. In the following years, Twoface had huge airplay on radio stations in Poland, Greece, Russia, Turkey and Brazil among others. Despite their top-of-the-charts airplay, they never managed to tour due to their status as a project with a heavy rotation of musicians. The project concept was scrapped, and Twoface became the face of Henrik Søgaard’s catchy and melancholy pop songs. As a solo artist with the record label Stamp Music, the way has been made for the new album "Road to Sanity", which includes the singles "Fire in Your Eyes" and "Revelations Day" plus ten new songs. Singer/Songwriter Henrik Søgaard is now ready to show both sides of what some people have called the Danish pop/rock phenomenon Twoface!

The plan
Twoface Lyrics

Why don't you laugh
I'm the drama in my own chaotic roleplay
I am the fool
That sings on the roof
Without a song to sing
Though it sounds all dramatic
With all the sounds of the rude world
I'm calling the times
That we left behind
No one should dream their time away
I lost a lifetime
Is it here the magic ends
Or do I need a simple plan
You're an angel
And I feel you
Let me sing your song
Let me drown in your tears
Angel
The lyrics of Twoface’s “The Plan” depict a person feeling lost in their own existence. The opening line, “I am a joke, why don't you laugh” immediately sets a tone of self-deprecation and sadness as the person feels like they are not worth someone else's laughter. The next few lines describe the person as being a part of their own “chaotic roleplay” which further emphasizes their confusion and possible lack of direction in life. The person acknowledges themselves as a “fool” singing without a song to sing, which implies they are searching for meaning and purpose in their life. However, despite the apparent despair, the person attempts to create some grandeur by stating, “Though it sounds all dramatic”, suggesting they are seeking some kind of attention or validation.
Twoface then shifts the tone of the song where the person speaks of their desire to find a “simple song” and bring to it, “all the sounds of the rude world”. Here, the person is yearning for a sense of simplicity in their life, wanting to strip away the noise and clutter of their surroundings and find something authentic. The line “I'm calling the times that we left behind, no one should dream their time away” speaks to the nostalgia the person may be feeling for their past, and the regrets that come with not taking enough action in their present. Lastly, the person reflects on having lost a lifetime, asking if this is where the magic ends or if they need a simple plan. Here, the person acknowledges that they have let time go by without much progress, wondering if it’s too late for them or if there is still hope.
Overall, the lyrics of “The Plan” capture an atmosphere of melancholy and confusion that many people can relate to. The song speaks to those who have struggled with finding meaning in their lives, feeling as though they are going through the motions without any real direction. The song encourages reflection on one’s present state and a hopeful outlook toward the future.
