Dancing Queen
U2 feat. Björn & Benny from ABBA Lyrics

You can jive
Having the time of your life
See that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Where they play the right music
Getting in the swing
You come to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of rock music
Everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
See that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
You're a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave 'em burning and then you're gone
Looking out for another
Anyone will do
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
See that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
The song "Dancing Queen" by ABBA is about a young girl who is having the time of her life dancing the night away. The lyrics describe the excitement and energy that comes with dancing, as well as the freedom and joy it brings. The song captures the feeling of being young and carefree, and celebrates the beauty of living in the moment.
The first verse sets the scene for the song, describing a Friday night where the lights are low and everyone is looking for a place to go. The singer encourages the listener to embrace the night and enjoy the right music, letting themselves get caught up in the fun and energy of the dance. The chorus is a celebration of the girl who is the dancing queen, a young and sweet seventeen-year-old who is filled with joy and energy. The lyrics encourage everyone to dance and jive, and to enjoy the moment.
The second verse speaks to the idea of the dancing queen being a "teaser," turning people on with her energy and enthusiasm before moving on to the next thing. The lyrics suggest that anyone can join in the fun, and that the energy and joy of the dance is available to everyone who is willing to let go and enjoy themselves.
Overall, "Dancing Queen" captures the energy and joy of youth, and celebrates the universal joy of dance as an expression of freedom and joy.

Great concert, only downside is since then I lost my Achtung Baby t-shirt I bought there. If I remember correctly they also had a directlink with the MTV-host Ray Cokes (spelling?).

Why didn’t they clean this up and release it with the 30th Achtung Baby release instead of the Australia show? This is much better.
