You'll never be G, O or D
Grab back!
You're looking down from above
Scoffing at us is making you somebody?
Don't make me laugh!
Okay, I'll warn you now
You can't hold me down with words!
You can't rule me from the world you made!
You will know!
Faded perfection
Dated direction
I'm fed up with your stupid deception
Replace this fiction
With full color non-fiction
It's time to see the revolution
Look up at me!
I never tought this is my fate or something
Even in the raging vortex or on the edge of a cliff
There are my decisions in every single moment
You know you can't hold me down with words
You can't rule me from the world you made
You will know
I grab it back
Breaking your rules up
You think you can control us?
You can't!
No throne for you
No crown for you, not for you
Going up stairs, we're almost there
Don't want you to say sorry at all
Just look up at me
You will know!
Faded perfection
Dated direction
I'm fed up with your stupid deseption
Replace this fiction
With full color non-fiction
Going up stairs we're almost there
The song “The Revolution” by UNDEAD CORPORATION is a powerful anthem about breaking free from the grip of those who seek to hold us down. The lyrics speak to those who are being looked down upon and scoffed at by those who think they are superior. The singer of the song refuses to be limited by mere words and refuses to be ruled by a world that is made by someone else. They declare that they will rise up, break the rules that seek to bind them, and claim their own destiny. They are tired of living in a world that is only a faded and dated version of what it should be; they seek to replace this fiction with a full color non-fiction reality.
The song’s message of revolution is meant to be empowering to the listener. It reminds us that we have the power to shape our own lives and to reject the narratives that are imposed upon us. The use of imagery in the lyrics – such as the “raging vortex” and “cliff” – emphasizes the idea that life can be a turbulent and uncertain journey, but that even in these difficult moments, we still have the power to make choices that shape our own futures. The song’s powerful, driving beat underscores the message of empowerment and encourages the listener to join in the revolution that the song embodies.
