PILLS
Victor Max Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴

I got the lean on filling my cup
lot of bitches round my corner
burning money day long like is nothing
I wasn't expecting our breakup

I dropped lean on your pouch
don't be mad at me, like fuck it
I know you want my dick so suck it
I dripped gasoline, in your couch

I found your girlfriend in the bathtub
i don't know why she is there she has a big butt
i hate you know that, your trash so
i listened to your stuff, now I’m deaf to

we take a couple drinks now we are layed down
I took off your clothes and you moaned loud
woke up my neighborhood and the whole town
now you call me every day, and I'm like ""bye-bye"" (tchau)

You know I’m popping pills all day long
I’m selling to your friend all day long
We know you’re my bitch all day long

My Uzi blows you up all day long
I’m smoking this weed all day long

Overall Meaning

In the first verse of Victor Max's song "Pills," the lyrics express a sense of indulgence and recklessness. The mention of lean, a codeine-based drink, suggests a hedonistic lifestyle, with the singer surrounded by women and spending money without restraint. Despite the apparent excess, there is an underlying sense of vulnerability hinted at with the mention of a unexpected breakup, showing that this lifestyle may not bring lasting happiness.

The second verse takes a darker turn, with the singer seemingly reveling in causing chaos and destruction. The references to spilling lean on a partner's belongings and finding their girlfriend in a compromising situation showcase a disregard for others' feelings and a sense of power play. The brash and explicit language used highlights a lack of empathy and a sense of detachment from consequences.

The third verse continues the theme of destructive behavior and discord within relationships. The singer expresses disdain for their partner and their musical tastes, equating it to a loss of hearing. This could symbolize a sense of disconnect or disillusionment with the relationship, further emphasized by the mention of infidelity and escalating conflicts.

In the final verses of the song, the lyrics depict a cycle of substance abuse and manipulation. The references to popping pills, selling drugs, and using violence suggest a spiral of self-destructive behavior and a destructive influence over others. The casual mention of using a weapon and drug use without consequences conveys a sense of numbness and detachment from reality, portraying a bleak and nihilistic worldview. Overall, the song "Pills" by Victor Max paints a complex and troubling portrait of a character caught in a cycle of self-destruction and dysfunction.

4 years ago I didn't think life is worth living anymore and I found a video you put on YouTube. I didn't know who you were or what your story was and after I found out I tried to rekindle my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. it's been a work-in-progress that's for sure cuz I let myself get pretty far gone and I've struggled here lately pretty bad for some reason and I got on YouTube and started scrolling and there you were after not seeing you on my recommended video list for years, there you were once again to remind me of what's important. Mr. Victor Marx I want to thank you because this is possibly the second time you have saved my life. The first time literally and now Point me back in the right direction. Thank you God bless you and someday I hope to meet you. I wish I knew how to get a hold of you. Stay safe and keep doing what you're doing because you're helping people even if they're not struggling in the third world country.

You are an amazing man for not giving up. I strongly believe we have taken some dark roads by accident and we have lost our way back. People who we trust betray us many times. God bless you.

God bless you, I found Jesus myself about a year ago after being an atheist for years. Going to confession was what really did it for me; I really felt incredible. God bless you; I wish you the best

@parispoet

@@zachpeirce3165 You can confess to God everyday. 🙏🏻

Four years later, I hope you have continued to rely on the strength to be found in Christ Jesus.
