La puerta
Viento Roots Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of "La Puerta" by Viento Roots convey a sense of hope and determination to overcome obstacles. The singer asks for strength to understand what is causing them to lose sleep, and to be able to confront it and grow from it. It's a call to embrace new opportunities, to explore distant worlds that were once only a dream, and to not give in to despair when things aren't going well.
The wind is a powerful and recurring image in the song, representing both the challenges and the possibilities that life presents. The "viento recio" (strong wind) could be seen as a metaphor for the difficulties the singer is facing, but also as a force that can propel them forward. The wind is also depicted in contrasting terms, as both a "viento de sombras" (wind of shadows) and a "viento de luz" (wind of light), suggesting that even in the darkest moments, there is hope and that light can be found.
Overall, "La Puerta" is a song that encourages perseverance through difficult times and the pursuit of one's dreams. It's a reminder that even when things seem bleak, there is always a chance for growth and renewal.
