The minute men would be a cool faction if we could actually EXPERIENCE these events instead of hearing about them. Imagine how awesome it would be to defend Diamond city from a horde of super mutants. Also it makes no sense for there to not be a quest line to retake Quincy and drive the gunners out of Boston.

seems the devs thought of the minutemen as no more than a yes man playthrough. Even the Railroad are more fleshed out and people dont like them very much.

Fun fact: If you download the "Militarized Minutemen" mod McGann's quartermaster Sharon, will guard the armory and you won't meet her until Ronnie asks you to help her retake the armory. Unfortunately Sharon rarely seems to venture outside of her natural habitat unless the castle is under siege and cannot be assigned any other task except to buy/sell gear from you.

yeah you can actually. once you cleared the place and can use the workshop just place a fast travel rug thing in the armory. fast travel than boom you can open the armory.
in survival though im not sure how to do so.

Depending on what species the queens derive from they can live any where from 30 to 100 years tops and this is assuming the radiation doesn't increase lifespan in all creatures the way it did with the ghouls.

It annoys me so much that you can't repair the castle, it's a game where you can carry around a minigun while wearing a suit of armor powered by nuclear fusion but you can't stack some bricks

Well there’s a mod to do such thing I have it and it basically makes the fort back to pre mirelerk attack condition it looks really good also with another mod I can build the armory door so I can actually lock down the entrances makes for a real fort feel

Can you imagine how cool it would be to take the castle back from super mutants! Dodging artillery, fighting on the walls, busting into the generals room to take out their leader. Maybe they’d even have the unique hats and stuff

I would always build like 5 artillery pieces per settlement and use a mod that would increase their range and then rain down bombardments on raider and gunner bases everywhere

With a mod you can replace the walls and make it like a real fort also I have another mod that lets me build the fort Armory door so it makes for a good fort feel

I think the amount of mutant creatures is a bit low. I put in the mods M's Abominations and I think 3 different Mutant Managerate and though it's nice, it just feels lacking. Plus it's such a chore getting to Far Harbor and Nuka World that I often lose steam and give up to try something new.

Would super mutants even be interested in artillery? You cannot eat or convert what you vaporize with artillery. This story bit always seemed a bit odd to me.
