@Cucumamacacapipi It could also be an reaction because of lack of reassurance over a long time about how their partner sees them. See the thing is that people have a harder time understanding each other than they actually can ever understand. Because the only thing we have ever experienced is the fact that we have a basic understanding of ourselves and our own thoughts. The basis of the knowledge that our thought processes make constantly is not the same as the thought process another person has but we think it is (And that is the problem) we assume stuff based on the "voice" in our own head which will be wrong at all times because it can never be the same it just can't. That is not to say that we are doomed to die as a species but that makes communication and the "act" of trying to understand that much more important.
But as the comic said a lot of people are used to bottling it up, and think that because their own thought process reached that conclusion that means everyone would reach the same conclusion.
I think the short/krocks guy is a brilliant example. Assuming that both in the pair wants to relax watching stand up on a night out.
I assume his thought process is him wanting to be able to relax on a night out and him thinking I am sitting in a dark room either way so "comfort>style" '
and assuming his girlfriend is doing the exact same mental exercise. However for her to be able to relax she needs to feel at least a "baseline pretty". Even in the dark they could be called out they are walking on the street/sitting next to people.
Now they both want to relax but are going about it in very different ways. If the communication is lacking between the partners then she will assume he doesn't care (when in reality he very much went for a relaxed outfit it was very much a thoughtful process) and he will think she can't relax and chill when he sees the amount of work that goes into it (Again a very reasonable thought process for her) not saying this is a man vs. woman thing but rather a human to human thing.

When she said “you guys will talk to athletes...” I was already weak

Роман Мавроян talking to yourself is a relatively normal thing.
It's a matter of self-reflection.
Talking to the TV, however... Straight-up crazy.

This is so good!! You can tell she has so much experience in stand up. She’s also gorgeous. I don’t know why men feel the need to be mean to female comics in YouTube comments. She’s slaying and getting that dough regardless.

Women just aren't seen as funny like that. They'd have 2 be ridiculously funny 2 not get those kinds of remarks

She’s not really telling jokes & being slightly peachy. This is the style a lot of female comedians do hence why people hve problems with it. Plus, it’s really simple explanations of things.
