"Their songs have roots via Motown, the Smiths, the Strokes and beyond. The quartet can easily strike gold at its best."

Out Of Control
Wiretree Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Just up ahead in the big blue sky
All I need to I know where I should go
Rose lips and escapades
try to learn from my own mistakes
I'm running fast and I know I'm out of control
Fleeting thoughts always in my mind
I know that we are going to be all right
Come on over, I hope you can give me some light
Tell me things that will help you sing
Help me figure out where I've been
I'm running fast and I know I'm out of control
The opening lines of Wiretree's "Out of Control" describe the singer's sense of urgency to keep moving forward, despite feeling uncertain about where he's headed. He's hopeful that he'll find his way, represented by the "big blue sky" ahead, but acknowledges that he's not entirely in control. The allusion to "rose lips and escapades" adds a sense of romance and desire to the song, as if the singer is heavily invested in his own journey and the highs and lows that come with it. He knows that he's made mistakes, but believes that he can learn from them and continue pushing forward.
The second verse adds even more depth to the idea of finding oneself on a journey. The "fleeting thoughts" are a reminder of how quickly time passes and how important it is to make something of that time. However, the singer is also comforted by the belief that everything will ultimately be alright, and he seeks the support of someone he trusts to help him find his way. He recognizes that he needs guidance ("Tell me things that will help you sing"), and is open to learning from others as he continues on this path. In the end, there's a sense of resignation to the fact that, no matter what, the singer will keep running fast and going out of control to reach his destination.

Thanks for the video. It’s quite interesting, and definitely a smart idea with the drill speeding up the process! Definitely a lot faster than adding gemstones, and/or other ways that wire trees can be made. Looks quite simple, but beautiful. Cool idea on the red paint, also!

He is using 26 or 27 gauge brass wire it is about 80cm (31.5") long, you need 36 pieces of wire. You group them in bundles of 3 and wrap them together. Then wrap all of the bundles together, shape and mount to a base. Add the color if you choose. The "hook is make out of a nail." All of this info is in the captions, but if you did not have them on you would not see them.
You will need about 36 yds of 26 or 27 gauge wire to make this project.
You could add crystals as you are starting the project as leaves. You could stagger the branches and allow more forks in the tree as you build. You could wrap the trunk in wire to have a smoother finish. This is a GREAT starter tree, he just needed a bit more information in the gauge and length of the wire.

@Ben List itsa bottle of Puff Paint and it can be purchased at Walmart or other craft stores. Its rubbery as it dries down. Neat for painting on clothing.

Thank you so much! My 29 yr old daughter was dx with PNH last year. She is very creative- she says no but she is- and I keep thinking of things I'd like her to make (especially for me, haha) when she unable to get out and do things.
