IMPORTANT: I’ve heard that if the cloth you are using soaks through, do NOT remove it. It will ruin all the clotting you’re already successfully creating. Add another layer of fresh cloth on top and re-apply pressure.

Thank you I am actively bleeding from my hands. I was using a potato slicer very sharp and I cut myself on both hands, one on the palm and another one in the thumb. I’m using voice speech to write this cause I can barely move both hands.

My school got shooting threats a few weeks ago (everything is okay though), and that's been my number one fear since switching to public school. Our teachers frequently go over evacuation plans and my class's current substitute teacher used to be in the military so today he taught us how to use a tourniquet and how to barricade a door using chairs. I have a lot of extra space in my backpack even with all my school supplies, binder, and books inside so I plan on carrying stuff like first aid because I figure a lot of students don't and I'm paranoid lol but it's better to be safe and prepared. Thanks for the video, it helped me out a lot!

I'm so sorry that you have to worry about things like this happening at school. At the same time, I applaud your wisdom in preparing for the worst case scenario. The fact that you are preparing to help others in such a situation is humbling. May the Lord Jesus encamp His mighty and protective angels around you and all our young people.

They are drills, not actual events. The news is lying to you to create fear. If you don't believe me, and still live in fear, then you are best to be home schooled. Schools teach you NOTHING of value anyway. Education is indoctrination. My playlists may be of some help to you. All the best to you.

- Applying pressure to the wound won't always stop the bleeding because internal bleeding can still occur
- When you’re in a desperate situation and you don’t have gauze you can use anything to pack the wound. Whether it’s a jacket, a shirt or a sock you can use it (getting an infection won't matter if you are dead).
- NEVER unpack the wound only every add more cloth on top of it if needed
- When applying a tourniquet place it 1-3 inches above the wound
