I'm In Love
Woody Woodmansey's U-Boat Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Things change, lucky for me
I felt the reaper in my eyes

I charged pain with rent and more
I been flexing on

No Homeless I've repped in
Take it to Lucies door

My ego like a frontal lobe
I been waiting

I think I've found it
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I adore
The leverage and peace and more
I adore

My lady
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
She represents how far I've come from the floor

Planet under my feet
I walk hard and with intent

I take turns to walk with god
Coming out my gut

I think I've found it
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I adore
The leverage and peace and more
I adore

My lady

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
She represents how far I've come from the floor

David was at his best when Mick was in his band!! Mick playing that guitar in every song is the best guitar playing ever!!! Frickin love them!!

+Amy Carmichael I agree. The Spiders kicked butt. Always going to miss David. Huge fan since 71.

I find myself watching this over and over. Stunningly good performance by Bowie and the band. But the real Gem is Mick and his ripping good tone.

Ronson & Bowie..outstanding combo..brilliant! Ziggy era was greatest time for amazing music! R.I.P. Duo jamming in heaven. Found, even better!!

Rod McLean

THIS IS THE BAND !!!!!!!  David was never the same outside the Spiders. These guys just gell beautifully. Mick Ronson was born to be Davids right hand man. Just a perfect Rock Band. Shame he broke em up. Bad move.

Scottish Lisa

Yes I often wondered if Bowie felt threatened by the band, especially Ronno hence him breaking the band up ?

You said it best !!!

The Spiders were brilliant but Bowie I disagree that it was his best work. Bowie kept evolving, do you seriously think he would have remained relevant right up until his death if he had stayed in a band?

Funk You

That was amazing.  Man this band was way too rad for its time.  Figures I was born 20 years after this appearance, I would give anything to see them live.
