1. XYZ, a collabo… Read Full Bio ↴At least seven bands are known under the name XYZ.
1. XYZ, a collaboration between Ian Svenonius (The Make Up, Chain & the Gang) and Memphis Electronic (Non!, Dum Dum Boys). They released a self-titled album in 2014 on Mono-Tone Records in Europe and Discord Records in the USA.
2. XYZ was a hook-laden hard rock band. They were considered the unofficial house band of the Los Angeles nightclub The Whiskey in the mid 80's, but major success eluded them. XYZ began in Los Angeles, California, with members Terry Ilous (vocals), Bobby Pieper (guitar), Patt Fontaine (bass) and Joey Pafumi (drums). An early development deal with Atlantic records led to the recording of their debut album {XYZ}, which quickly got radio play with the hits "Inside Out" and "What Keeps Me Loving You." After that false start, Ilous and Fontaine regrouped with new members Marc Diglio (guitar) and Paul Monroe (drums). Don Dokken produced the debut that included the single "Inside Out," but unfortunately few people seemed interested. The follow-up, "Hungry," did even worse commercially, and by 1992, Diglio and Monroe had been replaced by Tony Marcus and Joey Shapiro respectively. The final tour dates were performed, and the group called it a day.
Ilous went on to form Cage with former King Kobra member Jeff Northrup before recording as Flynn. Fontaine and Shapiro worked together on a band called Puzzle Gut.
Ilous and Monroe re-teamed in early 2000 (with Diglio helping to write), and with the addition of Northrup and former Quiet Riot and Great White bassist Sean McNabb, released the exceptional comeback album Letter To God in early 2003. The demos were released as "Rainy Days" in 2005.
3. XYZ also refers to a very short-lived band comprising former members of Yes and Led Zeppelin; hence, "Ex-Yes Zeppelin," or XYZ. Alan White and Chris Squire of Yes briefly teamed with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin in 1981, and Robert Plant (also of Zeppelin) sat in on one rehearsal, but the group didn't coalesce as they'd hoped. Only a few snippets of their demo recordings survived, and no songs were released under the XYZ name.
4.XYZ is the name of producer/rapper who is part of the Nigerian-based hip hop collective str8buttah which also includes Teck-Zilla, Enigma, Prof. Deckzavier, R-Cube & Mister Rae . He released the instrumental mixtape "the black hue" in 2012.
5. A Progressive Technical Death Metal band from the Czech Republic.
6. A synth-pop band from Bangkok, Thailand

Ow!
Ah...
Your body's hot for danger
I've got my hands on you
Your heart is beating faster
Ain't nothing you can do
And get you hooked on love
Somehow the point of no return
Is never far enough
You want me, I want you
Can we get it on
You need me, I need you
Come on little darling
Don't say no, baby
'Cuz I know the way you feel
Don't say no, ooh
We got to make a deal
We're going down together
To lay it on the line
'Cuz you can't run forever
Surrender and be mine
Now I can see a million stars
Shining in your eyes
You're off to fall and fall again
Addiction never dies
You want me, I want you
Can we get it on
You need me, I need you
Come on little darling
Don't say no, ooh!
'Cuz I know the way you feel
Don't say no, ooh, yeah
We got to make a deal
Don't say no, ooh, baby
I know the way you feel
Don't say no, ah-ah-ah
We got to make a deal, whoa!
Whoo!
Don't you, don't you say no...
Whoa!
Ooh, yeah
Ow!
Don't say no, ah-ah-ah
'Cuz I know the way you feel
Don't say no, ooh, baby, baby
We got to make a deal
Don't say no
Oh, don't you, don't you say no
Don't say no, ow!
'Cuz we got to make a deal
Deal, deal, deal, yeah
'Cuz I know the way you feel
Oh, oh, we got to make a deal
Don't say no
Yeah
Don't say no, baby
The song "Don't Say No" by XYZ talks about the danger of falling in love and how it can be addicting to the point of no return. The lyrics suggest that the singer and the other person are mutually attracted to each other and have an undeniable connection that is hard to resist. However, there is a warning that their attraction is a risk, and it can lead to heartbreak and addiction, hence the plea for the other person not to say no. The ominous verse about someone out to steal their soul adds to the ominous and thrilling vibe of the song.
The chorus is catchy and straightforward, stating that they need to make a deal and not say no to each other. The fiery passion and urgency in the lyrics and the vocal delivery add to the overall seductive and edgy personality of the song. The bridge is particularly compelling and contains a sense of triumphant surrender that the singer is both apprehensive yet bold in admitting their addiction to the other person. They are not afraid to embrace the danger and experience the highs and lows of being in a relationship, making the song both exhilarating and slightly risky.

Top of the list for the perfect all-inclusive 80s hair metal song. Great guitar tone, vocals, drums, production, EVERYTHING. Doesn't hurt that the song itself kicks ass either. Should've been way bigger than they were. Cursed grunge movement lol
