On October 28, 2014 Xande released his first solo album through Universal Music. The album entitled “Perseverança” has 14 tracks, with songs composed by the singer himself and by names like Serginho Meriti and Arlindo Cruz. "Feliz da vida with this new phase", the singer explains that the song that opens names the disc and portrays a little of its history.
He has written several Sambas Enredo for Escolas de Samba (Schools of Samba) competing in Rio’s Carnaval Parade.
In August 2023 Xande released an album with covers of Caetano Veloso named “Xande Canta Caetano” painted with Xander’s pagode tinges. The project was born in parties at Paula Lavigne’s house, Caetano’s partner, where Xande performed “Ela e Eu” which Caetano really enjoyed. Caetano then proposed to direct a show with only vocals and cavaquinho. That idea fell through, but they kept the desire to work together. Caetano was part of the recording sessions, but only in a Sam composer role.
“Muito Romântico” opens the album first recorded by Roberto Carlos in 1977 and explores the power of communication of Brazilian MPB, and the possible connection between Caetano born in Santo Amaro and the carioca Xande hailing from Morro do Turano, North Zone of Rio. Other songs included were very personal to Xande such as “O Amor”, “Diamante Verdadeiro” along classics such as “Tigresa”, “Qualquer Coisa” and “Alegria Alegria”. The new renditions are surprising mainly because of the Xander’s vocals and the arrangements by Pretinho da Serrinha. “Trilhos Urbanos” mixes the original song by Caetano with “Retirantes” a the song “Retirantes” by Dorival Caymmi for the historic soap opera “Escrava Isaura” about Brazil slavery era. “Lua de São Jorge” goes the samba route showing how Xande is devoted to the saint. “Alegria Alegria” was the first song Xande listened by Caetano when he was still a child ends with with tinges of ijexá. “Qualquer Coisa” turns into a bolero and bandolim by Hamilton de Miranda. “Luz do Sol” was one of the first songs Xande learned to play when studying guitar through magazines sold in Brazil at the time. He also first heard “O Amor” on the radio in the 1980s, first performed by Gal Costa and one of his preferred songs when she sings “Ressucita-me”. “Gente” goes strongly into the style of Escolas de Samba, including references to several Brazilian personalities such as Zezé Motta and Agrippino de Paula; Xande says Caetano gave him freedom to add names to the song but he only added an aunt and uncle who influenced his musical career. By the end of the recoding session of “Gente”, everyone noticed Caetano was emotional and crying profusely, and the moment viralized on social media.

In 2020, he took on a relationship with blogger and digital influencer Thay Pereira (Mikimbeth, as she is also known in her networks).
