Talking to You
Yeyo. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Baby I want you tonight
Baby I want you all night
Now I sit alone and I cry
Missing times of you and i
I don't know what to do
I'm lost and confused
Baby I'm talkin to you
And baby girl you don't know all the pain that i went through
Its like you didn't care
That's why I wasn't there
I had to change my way
I lived it day by day
That's why I went away
Now I'm on the highway
Tryna find the right place
To where I can hide
My feelings inside
I don't wanna cry
I wanna be fine
I'm tired of feeling like I wanna die
Cause I wanna be the one that you call
When you're all alone
With no one to hold
Swear my heart is so cold
I just want you by my side
I wanna hold you tight
And I'm gonna love you right

Tien Most Powerful Human On Earth

Eminem dissed Game in 2007 on Cashis song "Pistol Poppin". There was a follow up song not long after from Cashis again called "Hit Em Up" that put this whole thing into context and confirms "Pistol Poppin" was a diss and he talks at the end giving us more information on the situation with Eminem and Game. But breaking "Pistol Poppin" down in further context it looks like this and its unmistakable for anyone that's missed it.

 Cashis :
"Slung crack, real cat, you ain't never did that" (Alluding to Game being on Change Of Heart and a male stripper not being about the streets.)

"Fuck it if you want beef, click-clack, wack rap / Tossed straps before, I'm out of here, homie / Militant in a sense, I don't really give a shit/ Call up, Eminem, I gotta plead innocent" ( Saying fuck it anyways if Game wants beef though that's what he'll get while confirming Eminem has got bail and lawyer money ready to go to get Cashis out of a homicide legal issue if need be.)

"I can serve anything especially anybody tryin' to diss my team,/ Shady, G-Unit, Aftermath the same thing / So if you say them punk nigga you say me / I be in L.A. G, get at me when you see me / Catch you in O.C., and in the bag you'll be leavin" (Telling Game he's now involved in the beef and that he be in LA but Game can't come to OC.)

"Thought it was a GAME now the neighbors calling out"
(It also purposely sounds like he's saying "Game now the name is calling out.")

Eminem :
"We all gotta step our GAME up; especially these lame fucks / Who walk around with their chest out/ Just tryin to be down with anybody who's left now / Better be down with them,  / But I dare some bitch to say somethin about Eminem / Cause I'm not in the mood to be playin around with dudes" ( Em saying Game being a lame fuck needs to step his game up walking around with his chest out all the time trying to be down with everybody in rap after he betrayed the team. That he actually better be down with them cuz he gonna need help soon. Game was trying to hop on every rappers dick every interview and every song once the beef started. Whoever he could be cool with once he had nothing left. Calling him a bitch for the first time that would lead to Em calling him a bitch again for a second time for something specific.)

"Proof you were the truth / Please don't let us come face to face with these boo-boo-hoo / Fake-ass tattooed havin / Fif', please tell 'em right now how hard it has been / For me to try and, stay out it / But they just won't quit runnin their mouth/ At least 'til there's a gun in it; son of a bitch! / We all got shooters, yeah these days who doesn't? / Im just so sick of the beef, I don't even wanna see anymore." ( Em stating that real Gs are like Proof who just recently died in a shootout not Game calling him a cry baby always crying over shit like the Super Bowl now for example and calling him out for his LA face tatt because its a cover up of his old butterfly tatt that everyone made fun of him for to the point he had to try and get rid of it. Then telling 50 it has been so hard to stay out of all this shit but Game won't stop running his mouth till there's a gun in his mouth and reminding Game everyone at Shady Records got shooters too going on to calling him a bitch again for the second time. This was in response to Eminem finding out that Game has been calling Eminem a bitch secretly at his shows which Cashis goes into more detail about in his following song Hit Em Up. Game also had a line where he claimed 50 used to fly to LA to get fucked by a white bitch.  Em was recording in LA. Em was making it known that Game was the one in fact whos a bitch stating how he has been watching that beef for so long at that point he didn't even wanna see anything at all anymore.

Cashis released "Hit Em Up" dissing Game further and elaborating further at the end of the song. He talks about how Em told him hes just waiting for The Game to say Eminems name directly out loud to the masses. That they have heard word on the street about how Game was starting to now say Fuck Shady. "Pistol Poppin" was a warning shot. Game responded to Eminem on the original version of "My Life" with Lil Wayne and that's how 50 with 40 Glocc turned their attention to Wayne as well later for working with Game with 40 Glocc surrounding Wayne and Baby in their vehicles.

Game :
"All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them/ So there ain't no proof I walked through 8 Mile/ And so since it ain't no Proof I'll never walk through 8 Mile." ( He later changed his mind as he always does and changed the lyrics and re-released the song with a new part taking Eminem and Proof out of it. Cashis responded back with a light jabbed "Wouldn't Get Far" also aimed at Cam'ron from then on Cashis joined with Spider Loc to record "Diamonds" where Cahis moved on to diss Jr Writer continuing to diss Dipset riding for 50. Everything cooled with Em and Game since mid 2008 till now. Em won't respond to Black Slim Shady because he was over this beef years ago he's no longer invested and it's just a waste of time at this point. He wanted Game to diss him directly then not over a decade later.

Yayo has a gift that most people wish they had. When he speaks, he controls the room and narrative. Goes a LONG way in business negotiations. It’s a double edged sword though.

Vantum Noir

He said on Vlad that he always would just be quiet and listen whenever 50 was at business meetings with big wigs so makes sense.

IAM

No that's not it, you have a bunch of guys controlling themselves for the sake of business and respect for 50. I do applaud YaYo for avoiding the game questions, understanding it could go left in real life.

Game Coe2020
