The Sun
Yin - Yang Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Whispering nothings in club rooms and taxi's
Smoke tastes so sweet
Promise to stay til the dawn
Oh the night's so naive
But I'm kinda feeling your intensity
It's got a liking for me
That's how you show that you got me
4am light through the blinds
Scatters while reading your mind
Tell me
Are you running from the heavy
Are you searching for her in me
You can do nothing when you got no hold on me
You love to be elusive
You keep the dream so lucid
Sun's coming up
Sun's coming up oh
Sun's coming up
Suns coming up oh
Suns coming up oh
Escape is so strong in this
There's nothing I can do
It's a little unhealthy
Memorise liquor's advice and I'm
Searching for dopamine
Looks like it's outside
Triggers like nicotine
Too bad that it wasn't him that could save me
Yeah he watched as the sun set, down
Both arms around my back
That's how I know that you got me
4am light through the blinds
Filtering thoughts in my mind
Let me
Hide myself in your soft sleeves
Bite my tongue until the stars leave
You can do nothing when you got no hold on me
You love to be elusive
You keep the dream so lucid
Sun's coming up
Sun's coming up oh
Sun's coming up
Sun's coming up oh
Sun's coming up oh
Escape is so strong in this
There's nothing I can do
Keep me in your company
Deal me in your dopamine
Keep me in your company
Deal me in your dopamine
The lyrics of Yin - Yang's song "The Sun" portray a complex and intense romantic relationship. The song explores themes of passion, vulnerability, and the longing for escape. The opening lines suggest a sense of shyness being overcome as the singer delves into a late-night encounter filled with whispered confessions and the allure of tobacco smoke. The night is portrayed as naive, and the intensity of the other person's presence is both intriguing and captivating.
The chorus reveals a certain ambiguity, as the singer questions whether the other person is running from a burden or searching for someone else within their connection. This uncertainty is further emphasized by the line, "You can do nothing when you got no hold on me," implying a lack of control in the relationship. The idea of elusiveness and lucidity is central to this dynamic, as the other person is portrayed as someone who enjoys being mysterious and keeping the dream-like quality of their relationship intact.
The song suggests a desire for escape, symbolized by the rising sun. Despite recognizing the unhealthiness of their situation, the singer cannot resist the allure of this intense connection. The reference to memorizing the advice of liquor and searching for dopamine alludes to using escapism and substances to navigate the emotional complexities. Ultimately, the singer seeks refuge in the other person's presence and longs for the release of being consumed by their love.

Yin and Yang to me means that everything has a positive and negative side to it
For example knife
Knife is often see as something dangerous, a weapon
But from Yang's view, it's something to defend yourself or to cook food with
While from Yin's view, it's something lethal and dangerous
Yin Yang theory helps to broaden view on how we see things usually
A threat might be a chance

Similar concept in Hindusim about Ardhnareshwar..
Means we everything is balanced at it's core. We are composition of both male and female.
I personally believe
We need stormy and cloudy days to feel sunshine.
We need villains in movie to feel the hero (ofcourse this is based on perspective)
We need bad moments to enjoy the good one.
We need death to appreciate the life.
everyone has it's seed of the opposite side.

Red Fox The true meaning of the yin and yang is. A little bit of darkness must be in the light and a little bit of light must be in the darkness for there to be balance which will make us whole.
