"Congas, bongos, tartalet recordings, old school hip hop, zombie disco squad, german saunas, solo, oliver $, the sweat familia, weirdos, jesse rose, mastiksoul, coffee..."
"Oh...And basically teki latek aka on his label Sound Pellegrino...When I play the current house and techno music that I like to my French "banging electro" friends they think it's minimal. When I play it to minimal DJs they think it bangs too hard. We love hard stuff when it's creative and groovy, and we love minimalist music when it's not boring nor serious.....
we kinda agree."

Dance and chant
Keep 'em dancing

Oh, can you feel it?
Look up in the sky and tell me
Can you feel the light? Do that thing (Can you feel it?)
Do that, do that thing
Do that thing
(You do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it)
(You do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it) do that thing
You
Do that thing
Do that thing
The song "Dance and Chant" by Yolanda Be Cool is an invitation to dance, and an exhortation to let oneself be carried away by music and the feeling of being alive. The lyrics repeat the question "Can you feel it?" and encourage the listener to look up in the sky and "tell me" if they can feel the light. This can be interpreted as a call to recognize the beauty and wonder of life, and to let oneself become one with the energy of the universe. The repetition of the phrase "Do that thing" can be seen as an invitation to let oneself go and express oneself through dance, without judgment or inhibition.
The phrase "dance and chant" is repeated several times throughout the song, reinforcing the message that dancing and singing are powerful ways to unite people and create a sense of community. The idea is that music and dance can transcend cultural and social boundaries, and bring people together in a shared experience of joy and celebration. The rhythm and melody of the song are catchy and infectious, adding to the overall atmosphere of fun and playfulness.
Overall, "Dance and Chant" is a song that celebrates the power of music and dance to connect people and bring them closer to their inner selves. It encourages the listener to let go of their inhibitions and embrace the joy of being alive.
