Overall Meaning

The song "Go Getta" by Young Jeezy Ft. R. Kelly Bun B. & Jadakiss talks about living the life of a go-getter, someone who works hard to achieve their goals and enjoys the fruits of their labor. The chorus emphasizes their willingness to work hard all day and play hard all night. The song talks about the material possessions and financial gains that come with being a successful hustler. Jeezy portrays himself as someone who is unashamed of his wealth and brags about his money and cars, while Jadakiss adds a verse about his own street smarts and his fondness for expensive clothes and accessories. R. Kelly ties the song together with his soulful voice and signature ad-libs.

The lyrics of "Go Getta" reflect the hip-hop culture of the early 2000s, which was influenced by the hustle and entrepreneurial spirit of the streets. The song is a celebration of financial success and a reminder that, through hard work and perseverance, anyone can achieve their dreams. The up-tempo beat, catchy chorus, and memorable verses make "Go Getta" a classic party anthem that is still played in clubs and at events today.

My uncle an auntie took me an my older brother because we were too wild (gang banging an selling crack) at 16-17... But see when we moved in with my moms sister, at first he would only give us dime bags or a quarter of Reggie Bush finally i couldnt wait until the first of the month i went to school an rounded up half the schools money an only gave them a half ounce to split. Lol i was smoking good than i start making kids pay me an my brother or take us on the high ride for the plug. An man when i tell u my uncle went from 2 pounds to 20 with just me an my brother there. Finally his plug sent him an my brother home "with a gift" an it was a big ass block of Yola' 2kilos in one brick. He didnt know what to do (the previous summer when i was 15 was the first time we stole from another cousins of mine sister an her baby daddy) they was moving 4kilos a month. An we would take the bottom kilo an break off zips of that shit. An go to the bootlegger on our rez trade em cocaine an go cook up at the crackheads crib. Man when jeezy was Killing the radio waves it was a movie for my reservation (im native american) anyway when we broke down them kilos we ended up with over 6 workers an getting all the crackheads to blow us up!.... We was booming. Than when we were done the plug had to do 10 years. An he was gonna give us the logistics operation (going to pick it up an drive it thru 4 states) making their orders for the family of mexicans. Shit was fun. Jeezy will always be mid 2000s rap king.
