Youth Decay began with guitarist Stuart Ross (Comeback Kid, ex Living With Lions, ex Misery Signals and Lowtalker) along side friends Benjamin Gibbs (The Grave Life) and Dana Edwards (Carpenter).
After a few rehearsals the band then decided that it would be beneficial to expand the sound from a 3 member to a 5 member line up. With the recruitment of Living With Lions drummer Loren Legare and vocalist Stu Mckillop (ex Daggermouth, Aspirations); the band then began work on what would come to be the Older Fatter Drunker ep.
Recorded at Mckillop's studio Rain City Recorders in early 2014 by engineer Curtis Buckoll; the outcome is a short, melodic and aggressive collection of songs.
